Returned item still no refund. Does not charge your battery, this are cheap and built with cheap components. save your self alot of time and pay the extra for a reliable unit or rebuild the one you have for $20 bucks. New brushes easy install.

Product failed Warranty honored
Customer service was very good. At 1st my reply was it was out of warranty. It was in fact 14 days out of warranty when i cantacted the company, but it failed prior to the contact date and diagnosing the generator was the actual problem. Thru corrospondence they honored my warranty. They did the right thing. Will buy again.

Exact fit
The starter fit perfectly and preforms very well

Flip the red/green wires to get this to work.
You have to flip the red/green wires at the connector for this to work. I have no idea why it came from the factory backwards. Use a pick to undo the connectors on the generator side and flip them. An easy but dumb that we have to do it fix.

DO NOT BUY
I purchased and installed this item Aug 2023. It failed to charge my Yamaha golf cart battery above 11.8V while under load, Nov 2023 (3 months use). I removed it and disassembled it. The brushes were 80% worn. The armature bronze surface that the brushes wear on was worn down excessively. A severe depression was worn into the bronze surface. The armature installed in this unit was definitely not new when installed. These units are crap. The low price is not worth buying. Stay away.
