Humorous look at Anglo-French relations
Although written from an English perspective, "les Yankees" will find this entertaining as well. Explains several foibles and unique aspects of French culture and world-view with biting, often sarcastic, humor. Certain to offend Francophiles the world over.

I like it
I hate the French anyway because of WWII and their reaction to us as a nation. This justifies my feelings for them. I have for years tried to not buy French products. I encourage you to read this.

Thought it would be really funny
It read more like a history lesson. I'm not interested in the history of France and surely wouldn't be grabbing this book if I was. Sorry...didn't make me laugh and couldn't even finish the book.

Greek to me
It was funny and then some parts were not so funny. Maybe I just do not understand the French.

very boring
It was very boring. Only made it half way through the book before I deleted it from my kindle account.

did y'all read the same book?
Hey, I like bashing the Fwench as much as anyone. I collect French guns because they are always in such good shape... never fired, and only dropped once. Badump-bump.But seriously, I couldn't make it halfway through this dog. Finally deleted it wondering when the funny was going to start. Just got an email notification that a newly edited version was available. No, not going to give it a second chance...

Not Funny and Badly Edited
I don't think anyone read this book before it was published. There are missing words and scrambled sentences. It is definitely in need of a good editor.Looked for some humor but all I found was rabid hatred of the French. "If you are French, then there is nothing good about you!" That about sums up the book. Or maybe I just don't appreciate British humor. The French have their foibles, as do we all, but this is a brutal attack on all things French. A more gentle hand would have produced a better book.
