I've had this vacuum for a few weeks now and I must admit it's the best I've ever had and I have owned Dysons as well. It's quiet but has excellent suction power. It has some lovely features that make using it a pleasure. It isn't perfect, there are a couple of flaws but overall it's really good. I'd recoomend getting the Car detail kit with it if you think you may want to clean smaller spaces. I use it for the car, runners in bifold doors and lego which gets very dusty on shelves. This is very easy to use in the four modes, the first just being an upright vacuum which works well on both carpet and hard floors (there is a setting for both). The second way is when you need to get under something low and you simply lift off the main suction unit and then you have a long slim upright cleaner which goes 100% flat to go under sofas etc. The third configuration is lifting off the hose with a short wand, on which attachments can be placed. Finally you can lift off the hose with a long wand - excellent for hard to reach ceilings or cobwebs. People have noted that the hair still gets wrapped around the brushes. I haven't noticed this but do give it a quick clean out every now and again and it seems fine. Another thing I read in the reviews was that the dust container was small. It's definately not huge but I think it's absolutely fine, I have a four bed house and can clean it all without needing to change halfway. The dust collector actually opens very easily from both ends to allow you to get all the dirt out - very good. I find the main handle for carrying very well balanced and don't find it heavy at all. Ok the two flaws I have found. Firstly the tube brush attachement we got with it, the brush part can slide up and down to allow a hard end or a brushed end, I find the friction stop here is very loose and it often slides up without you wanting it to - not a big issue but slightly annoying. The other is that when you have it on the hose the upright unit can tip over, basically the hose doesn't reach very far so you end up reaching to that next spot and the vacuum falls over behind you. Again not a big deal, if you bring the main unit along with you as you clean. Finally, I would again recommend the car detail accessories to go with this, it has made it such a verstile unit for us.

Don’t normally write reviews but this is a great product. Best suction hoover I’ve owed, I’m used to continually hoovering using cordless GTech, now it’s once a day at most and even then I’ve even had to reduce the suction. I went for the corded model as I was tired of battery life on cordless models decrease with age. Pet hair removal works really well, I’ve not had to cut hair out of the rollers like before (two hairy dogs and a cat) My light grey carpets have never looked so clean. Amazed on how much it collects every time. Some maybe put off with the heavier weight compared to cordless version but a worthwhile trade off if you have pets. Mine didn’t come with pet tool for stairs so I may buy that separately for the extra £20 online. Hard to fault, if you can live with a cord, and does require to be emptied more regularly but I see that as a positive on how well it picks up. I’m not one for spending out on “tech” but this came up on Black Friday deals and it’s been worth the spend. Would totally recommend.

We replaced our previous vacuum cleaner Miele Blizzard x1 only after 2,5 years with this one since parts suddenly started to break and been very expensive to replace. Been feeling sad at first as we spent over £200 for it only to last 2 years but it turned out we desperately needed a new vacuum cleaner. The suction power is really good and we were shocked to discover how dusty our flat was even though we were vacuuming it every day with our previous vacuum cleaner and we do not have any pets but it turned out the suction power for Miele was very poor comparing to Shark even though they claimed carpet cleaning rate was B the carpets didn't feel as fresh and clean as they are now. We vacuum our flat now every two days and it still collects a lot of dust from the carpet which might be due to our old vacuum cleaner not doing its job well. My carpets after every time they have been vacuumed now seem like they have been professionally cleaned. Shark also vacuums up the hair from carpet which Miele didn't, just kept rolling them on the carpet until eventually I picked them up and threw in the bin. With one long hair women and two long hair girls this is a very big advantage and makes my hubby happy that they are not all over the flat anymore. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the product the only thing is the material from upholestry tool came off after couple of uses, seemed like it was glued on the tool but otherwise vacuum cleaner it self without the tools is great. The quality of tools not that great, don't seem like they will last long.

nice looking powerful machine. Its classed as upright but design made it very versatile so basically you can do same jobs as classic shape vacuums. Pros: 1. Great suction power 2. Double roller powered brush 3. Hard floor/ carpet switch on wand handle (not on brush) 4. Brush stars as soon as vacumm cleaner is tilted( no switch) 5. Upright designe/ weight prevents carpet from lifting (very useful on small carpets not attached to floor). 6.Wersitality- detacheable brush, and stick,- brush works with every part on power mode. Cons: 1. Weight/suction, - power comes with the price, for women it might be little bit heavy to move around( suction makes it harder to move) 2. Power brush not very comfortable on stairs and no powered mini brush. 3. No internal power cable storage ( I personally don't mind outside hooks, but my other half do... 4. flexible hose - if you attache it to wand a bit twisted it will go off( not a real issue)

I absolutely love my new shark vacuum! I'm a notorious vacuum buyer, I've had loads of them and this shark is by far my fave to date! I've managed to reach all the spider webs that accumulated on my weird shaped stairs which is great considering I'm 5'4 in height, I always seemed to be slightly to short to reach with any other hoover so the lift away feature is brilliant. The anti wrap hair feature is fantastic I have literally not got anything stuck in the brushes on the hoover since using it for the last week. I also have 3 dogs and a cat no pet hair has got stuck so far, it also leaves no hair anywhere. The little headlights on the front are super handy as you can see that you are not missing anything when vacuuming on hard floor or carpet.. Especially the hard floor if you have pets and the hair blends in with the wood floor you can often miss the hair when hoovering not anymore. Suction is strong an dconsiderably strong on carpets.. I only have one room with carpet that's my sons bedroom and it's brought some bounce back to the carpet. Easy to clean the stairs with the liftaway feature and the cord being nice and long. On looks and appearance of the shark I love the shape and style of this vacumm it has a really stylish build.

I am cleaner, and I have worked with many different brands of hoovers. And I can honestly say this is the best for suction power so far. I have always been a fan of rhe Dyson (but not the cordless as they are shocking) The bane of my job is dealing with a hoover that doesn't do its job properly, it Makes my job a little more difficult and more time consuming.. this one ticks all the boxes for me. I dont take it to work but I have 3 daughters all with long hair, plus myself. And I have not found this to be a problem with hairs tangling around the brush head. It actually does as it says. There may be the odd few, but nothing in comparison to the other hoovers I have. I am a clean freak, and I currently have 4 hoovers ( 🤦‍♀️🤪) but I love this one. It is a bit on the heavy side though, but I am early forties, so still really young 😆, and fit, so i can handle it well. People say the dust bin is a little on the small side. Which it is, but who isn't near a bin when cleaning. We don't all live in mansions with only one bin on hand. Its not a problem. I live in a five bed house and not had to empty it yet while cleaning in one go, but i suppose its because I hoover regularly. Again not an issue. From one cleaner to another, I do recommend this hoover, however I did wait for it to come on sale. .

So, I’ve had a few Dysons. I’ll never have another after discovering the power of the Shark! A-mazing. Listen, this might not be the most powerful vacuum out there, and, yes, some hair might still get tangled, but this is so many miles ahead of any Dyson or Vax I’ve ever used. I’m very pleased with it - great suction, incredibly easy to use, easy to empty, easy to untangle. I love that it’s super easy to use the ‘wand’ and the attachments. All of the catches are really smooth, and everything clicks back into place effortlessly. My last Dyson (DC40) couldn’t pick up anything larger than a grain of sugar, so the fact that this Shark picks up anything I ask it to without jamming is brilliant for me. I have a dog and a cat too - no problem, suck up that hair! Oh, also, I must applaud the packaging - not a single bit of plastic. That’s how it’s done! Every piece of the vacuum was wrapped in strong brown paper, so the whole lot can be recycled. Excellent. In short, an excellent vacuum cleaner that I love using - and that’s saying something because I’m really lazy and hate cleaning!

This has got to be the best upright vacuum cleaner ever!! The suction is amazing and the amount of dirt, fluff and hairs that it picks up after one use is astonishing! I found that it was easy to navigate around my carpet and my kitchen hard floor, I released a little bit of the suction because fully on I did find it a tad tough to push around, but having said that it was no hardship to do that, infact what a brilliant way to have a workout! I love it and the lights on the front add that something extra and really helps to see in the edges and corners. The fact you have lift away is excellent for doing sofas, corners of ceilings etc. I would highly recommend this vacum cleaner. Yes it's a bit pricey, but hey, with this you get what you pay for, and then some!
