CrosmanCrosman C11 Semi-Auto CO2 Air Pistol (BB)

Relatively small size, reasonable price, light weight and more than satisfactory accuracy make this an ideal first air gun for the beginning marksman (or woman). As a parent, and now grandparent, I've used the 760 to train a few kids. The multi-step process needed to pump, load/cock and fire makes the 760 a good pick to safely coach a novice shooter. The 760 fits well to the shoulder, the iron sights are appropriate for the rifle, and trigger pull seems very consistent. Boring facts aside, the 760 is just plain FUN to shoot-grampa always has to launch a couple of dozen bb's himself. Note: Make sure to order Crosman's Pellgunoil along with the rifle-petroleum based oils will eat the pump seals and can be hard to find in some areas.

This thing has paid for itself already in all of the bird seed it's protected. The squirrels have started to fear me, and the birds worship me. The accuracy is pretty spot on- I mainly shoot pellets, so I can't attest to the accuracy for bb's though. The only problem I had was the main hinge being squeaky, but a little dot of oil on it, and I was set.

Works well easy to use but there needs to be a better site on it as it's easy to break and hard to use.

I purchased the Crosman 760B-N Pump Master BB/Pellet rifle, and was very disappointed in the cheap quality and manufacturing of of their product. I have a Crosman Model 760-C (which was made in America quite a few years ago) and the design and quality "rival" this cheap Chinafied plastic they are selling now, which was 2x the cost of the USA version. The only reason that I was purchasing a new rifle, was because my old one has lost some pressure over the many years I've had it, so I will probably see if I can find someone that can fix it (the quality is that much different). Definitely do not recommend! I immediately returned the rifle the same day after opening it to my disappointment. Definitely do not recommend! I like the rifle. Wish they had put a white dot on front site so I didn't have to paint it. Opening for loading the BBs is pretty small. Room to make it better or provide a small funnel (which I have purchased for less that $5). Didn't come with the cartridge for the pellets so I have to order it separately for $10.

Crosman makes a solid product in the United States. For a great price, you can get a powerful little pellet guns -- a great first gun for kids, but also a fun shoot for anybody. The latest upgrades -- eliminating the "clip" and making it easier to load pellets -- are absolutely wonderful.

Not the rifle I grew up with. This was hands down my favorite BB gun when I was a kid. I had more powerful guns, but there was just something about my 760. I knew that gun better than any other one and just couldn't miss with it. So when it came time to get my son's their BB guns to enjoy, I naturally went with the 760. I noticed it didn't look the same at all which I took to hopefully mean improvements, not that it needed them, so I ordered two for my boys. When I received them I opened the box to find little more than a plastic toy gun. Everything is plastic, even the parts that shouldn't be! The only metal is the barrel! They shoot like a toy too! The gun I had as a kid was wood and metal and built in the USA, and it lives to this day. This plastic P.O.S. didn't make it a day before jamming. This thing is a joke and nothing compared to the gun it once was. I don't know where this gun is assembled these days, but it damn sure comes off like something some greedy American company gets made in Asia somewhere, in a slave labor market to maximize profits, then charges the people of this country more for less. Crosman, the people of the US made you, the people of the US have supported you. If I'm right in my assumption that you moved manufacturing out of the USA to make this cheap junk, bring it back here and do it right again...
