When I first got these bowls I really did like them, they look nice, stack well, and are color coordinated with matching lids. What more could you want really?Well, they are trash. I have NEVER put a single one of them through a dishwasher, and yet the paint began to peel off them very very quickly. I mean, it's bad, to the point where it won't stop flaking even during use so I have tossed the whole set in the trash because I don't like the idea of eating flecks of paint in my food.I had assumed the color on the bowls was some sort of enamel but it is not, it is just a cheap, cheap and thin layer of paint. Just bumping around against each other while the bowls are stacked will cause it to start chipping almost immediately. Once that happens, it just never stops coming off.Go for something higher quality, unfortunately, you get what you pay for, and even though these are cheap if they don't even last you a couple months you're not saving money at all when you have to replace them.

The lids do not seal so not really what I expected since in the description it stated that the lids would keep the food fresh not sure how that would work in the freezer which was specified in the description as well...Not going to send them back since I do like the sizes, color, and weight just disappointed with no seal on the lids. When I contacted the seller I had no idea that none of the lids sealed tight I thought it was a problem with just the light blue one. Since then I have realized that none of them seal but at least they fit tighter than the light blue one. Guess I will use these until I find a set that also seals which is what I thought I was purchasing.

I selected these bowls for the wide range of size options including several nice large bowls. When the box arrived I was concerned as it was very small so I pulled out the largest one, the "7" qt bowl and added water to see its actual size-it was unable to hold even 6 qts of water. The smallest bowl that was "2" qts held about 1.5 qts. This was filling them until the water overflowed the bowl. I contacted Amazon immediately and am returning them.

Horrible peeling every where. Chunks of paint? Falling off everywhere. Only about 6 months old and my daughter is very careful with her things. Was a gift to her from me. Do not buy.

First of all it is not a one cup, cup gift it’s a 3/4 of a cup. I thought they were doing false advertisement BUT when I enlarged the picture it does show is just at 3/4 cup, a cup. No problem I needed it and it supposed to be for free so… They seem sturdy and colorful yet they do scrape Easily as you can tell by the photo I took when I unboxed them. I don’t think they are as big as the size that they advertise ?? 🤔❓ but it really didn’t matter to me for what I need them. They are still not very expensive so I knew they are not the high quality Chef grade Bowls.So depending on your needs they are very good or not. the inside is stainless steel which is what I was looking for and the outside colors are pretty, 🤷🏻‍♀️ one probably needs to wash by hand to avoid scraping. 🤷🏻‍♀️The lids are hard plastic and seems that they will be somewhat durable. It’s OK if you don’t intend For them to work be abused and bang them against utensils in the sink.After all they do advertise them in the box as salad or mixing and marinating bowls.And if you notice in the box the people are happy but they’re not using those bowls 😂 lol (joke)if you need higher quality Bowls that can withstand heavy cooking/ handling these are not for you.Otherwise I would definitely recommend them.

Coating on bowls is coming off. This one is the worst but it's on 3 others as well. Lids do not seal properly and fall off so can't use to store food for more than a few hours. Very thin metal. Gorgeous out of box but doesn't last. I do not recommend this product.

What I like about these bowls is that they have lids and have varying sizes.I don't know if they mention anything about being dishwasher safe, but I'd say they aren't. In fact I think they're supposed to be only used for salad. I have been using them with heated items in them and have been washing them in the dishwasher. They are tarnishing a little bit, so I'd say it's safe to assume they're handwash, and for salads only.They're great to store salads of all sizes though! I really love these bowls. I wish I could feel comfortable using them for heated items, and washing them in the dishwasher.For the price, stackability, and the aesthetic though, they're fantastic!!

So happy with this purchase. They nest well, theyre sturdy and easy to clean, theyre all great sizes. My favorite part is that its so easy to figure out which lid i need because the colors are matching. Colors are all beautiful too. Best purchase so far for our new place

Beautiful colourful set of superb quality mixing bowls that double up as storage tubs for salads, flans, puddings etc, very well made and a delight to have in the kitchen. Excellent product, well recommended

These bowls a very useful for both storage and mixing. I like them but after only a short time to coating of the bowls is starting to come off!

Paint on the underside of bowl chips off, as seen in the photo. It is important not to get this mixed in with the food you are preparing. I have no idea what kind of paint this is and I'm sure it would be harmful to ingest it. When I ordered these bowls I had thought they were enameled and a lot more durable.

Annoyingly not dishwasher safe but other than tHat they are great, stack away neatly and the lids fit well
