These are great hard wearing tracksters from Ron Hill. Water repellent and wind proof keeps you dry and warm in cooler months. Perfect for the outdoor runner.

Excellent product
I have always had reservations about the traditional Tracksters, but this version is slightly looser-fitting, and I have not felt too awkward about wearing them around town when away on camping/hill-walking/bird-watching holidays. In fact I wore them for most of a recent holiday in the north-west Highlands! I also have found myself wearing them around the house, and occasionally for gardening.I find them more comfortable than traditional tracksuit trousers - not so heavy, and not tending to become soaked in slight showers. They are also moderately wind-resistant, and I have worn them with thermal long-johns as a quite effective and light-weight alternative to my usual heavy winter-walking trousers. Only blemish so far has been scuffing of fabric caused by abrasion on rock scrambles, and I don't think any other legwear would have fared better! In the black version, they are not excessively sporty-looking; I would certainly buy another pair.

Perfect for their purpose
Accurate sizing which meant legs a bit long for me on correct waist but they're for jogging in not a fashion statement so fit is great. Lightweight, really comfortable and warm. Great delivery service as well. Will definitely buy again.

Fit well, good pockets, well constructed.
Very comfortable fit, size is as you'd expect it to be. You can trust the sizing description. Narrow at the bottom of the leg so they sit on your trainers rather than over them, which means less flapping about while you run. They're very warm, will be great for winter running but you won't wear them all year round. They seem water resistant enough to avoid a complete soaking too.Zipped side pockets (the main reason I choose these) fit a large smartphone comfortably. I use an iPhone 6+ and it fits nicely.Overall very high quality and a great first impression of Ronhill products; I'll be back for more I'm sure.

Better than expected
These are great. They fit me really well, and being a usual "30-32 short" in trouser size, that's not that easy. They keep you warm, without feeling like you're sweaty because you can feel the air breezing through rather than just getting hotter and hotter from your body temperature. The zips are of a great quality. They aren't too baggy or too tight, just right whilst allowing for unrestricted motion. Although I have yet to wear them in rain/drizzle I would still thoroughly recommend them, they seem great value, and quality.

Very comfortable and great fit
Having had Ronhill original style tracksters (with stirrups) for the last few years I finally got round to buying these because of the lack of pockets in the original.Great same fit, but with the benefit of pockets.

Newer is not necessarily better
As a long standing fan of my old trackster's, I thought it was time for a new pair. The design has change in the intervening years since I bought my last pairs. Although the general performance has not changed, they are not as cycle friendly as they were. The old pair have stirrups to go under the foot (mostly not employed as I found it uncomfortable for anything but cycling) the new pair don't have the stirrup and a slightly wider ankle cuff which makes them slightly less suitable for cycling (you have to tuck them into your socks!). They still have the same comfort level and I think the offer good value for money when compared with offerings from other brands to do the same job. A criticism I would level at all brands is that they all seem to make "regular" lengths, but none offer a "long" option - I don't think I'm partucularly abnormal at 6' 1" but all the leg lengths seem to be on the short side for me. Nearly a five star product for me, other people might not be so demanding!

Fine but a little expensive
They're ok but the seat area is not particularly well done, low waist, high crouch (hence my Jockey sport underwear do not work with these pants), and nothing justifies the high price in my opinion. Sizing is fine otherwise, the L fits me well with a little room to spare. They are mid-season, typically the pants you'd wear when it starts to get too cold for shorts. But not deep winter pants. I am 180 cm / 80 kgs, average build.

Comfortable for exercising and relaxing
I am a fan of Ron Hill attire and I was looking for a more comfortable pair of long running trousers and these are perfect. They are durable, comfortable and actually aid my running. They have 2 deep zipped pockets which are also useful. They are so good I bought another pair and I will certainly purchase them in the future.

Perfect so far for temps down as low as 25
Husband uses these for outdoor runs. Perfect so far for temps down as low as 25. Lightweight and just warm enough. The fit is awesome, not baggy like sweats, and not overly form fitting like tights. Will definitely buy more.

Perfect Cold Weather Running Pants
Comfortable, size is on, perfect for running in 25F to 55F weather. Nice pockets, built in tie. Those of you who tolerate cold better can use these in even colder weather without and underlayer. The unexpected thing is how good these look, for running pants, they have some style.

Great pants with lots of features for the price.
I have worn these pants on around 12 runs in NYC winter weather for 50 miles , including a blizzard, and these are solid winter running pants. I'm 5'9'' 167 lbs and the seat is a little tighter than other medium run pants. The material is not as soft as other pants and had an initial cheap feel. However, when I wore them they were really comfortable as any other. The DWR kept my legs dry in heavy snow. These pants are one of the best combination of features and price I have found.
