Over all love it, but major size issue for Plus Size
I'll start with the good, because overall I'm happy with this product. I have been diagnosed with Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction at 24 weeks pregnant. My physiotherapist said I needed a belt to hold my hips in to add some support as I progress in my pregnancy. She actually looked at this belt and was very impressed with it. She said it's one of the better ones she's seen and she wrote the brand down to recommend to other patients.I immediately noticed a difference wearing it, and it's so comfortable and doesn't dig in. As others have stated, it does get a little hot but for me it's not that bad. I usually wear it over a camisole shirt under my regular shirt. It's very easy to put on and adjust, and it is comfortable to wear. Doesn't dig in or anything. I am wide in the hips, so it does ride up when I sit, but that's just physics. But here's my issue, and it's specific to plus size individuals. When I went to order I immediately noticed an issue between the XL and the XXL sizes. The XL size guidelines says size 22/24 which I do fall into, but then it said measurement max is 55 inches. So I hop over to the next size up the XXL. It starts at 60 inches. Uhmmm? So no one on earth falls between 55 and 60 inches? I measure myself by their guide and come up with 59 inches. Well, crap.I decide to err on the side of caution and ordered the XXL. It comes, and as expected it was just way too big. The bottom layer overlapped all the way to the end of my hips. I couldn't get it right enough for the support I needed. It was also too wide and came up too high on my belly. It's about 1.5 inches wider than the XL size.I immediately ordered an XL to see. It arrives and the bottom layer fits great, but the extra support band doesn't. It barely gets past my hips so I can't apply it to add support where I really need it.So here's where I'm extremely annoyed. Since I seem to fall between sizes, I have had to keep both the XL and the XXL. I use the main band from the smaller size as it fits well (confirmed with my physiotherapist), but I had to switch the extra support band and use the one from the XXL.Honestly, if I didn't love this bad, I'd knock the rating down another star or 2. But I do recognize that the company is attempting to be size inclusive, and they do have a great product overall. But if you fall between 55 and 60 inches, fit a size 22/24, and can't afford to buy 2 bands then you might just need to look for another option.

Does what it says it will do.
My wife ordered this. She has had issues with soreness as we have been getting further in our pregnancy. This belt is meant to support the weight of a growing womb and help with the soreness from the muscle strain that causes. When I first heard about the cost, I was taken back a little. $45 for velcro on rayon seemed like a steep price. But after her wearing it for a few weeks now, she is in less pain and has enjoyed actually looking pregnant. This belt lifts the belly a little. She has complained a lot less and is able to do more. The velcro is starting to give way, as most velcro tends to do, but it looks like it should hold for a while longer. This band also can be used by plus size women. Which is a rarity. Even with maternity clothes claiming to be "plus size". I'm sure there are women that would read this and agree. The biggest downside is sweating. There isn't much breathing on this product. Luckily for us, we are just now hitting our third trimester. Hitting it in August in Oklahoma, I could imagine that would be sweat/rash city.Would I recommend this product? If you are pregnant and having stomach pains from the baby, this will help with that tremendously. If you are also almost to your third trimester and not really showing, this will help there. So, in those cases, yes. I would recommend. But only if it isn't late summer.

Wonderful as a post-surgical binder
Wonderful as a post-surgical binder, too! My child-bearing years are a couple decades in the past ;-) but after a car crash and subsequent abdominal surgeries, I was looking for something that would be more comfortable and fit better than most actual surgical binders out there. This (I bought a large) is long enough to go around my post-surgical belly (hernia repair) without being so wide as to annoyingly fold over in the back (there is always excess width to deal with when a "stout" person like me needs a binder long enough to fit her girth). My surgeon was pleased that I found this binder and has been recommending it to her other patients now!!!If it could be renamed to aim at the dudes out there (Beer-Belly Binder? ;-) ) you would sell even more!!Added after I bought a second one.....Just so you know - this product is being used not by an expectant mom, but by a post-surgical patient. It is the most comfortable and effective abdominal binder I have ever worn, and my surgeon is now recommending it to other patients who need post-operative support. :-)I bought a second one since I now have to live with an incipient abdominal hernia that can not be repaired (long story) and I will need to wear this "external muscle" (or "hug") forever now. So I just got another to alternate. The band goes through the washer in a mesh bag like any delicate item, and hangs dry within hours.

Actually different than other baby belts
This belt has helped with pregnancy related sciatic pain more than any other I’ve used. This is my 4th pregnancy no I have tried a few. Neoprene is warm, but I find it more comfortable than the fabrics other brands use. The adjustable outer straps help make it customizable to my needs. The sizing is relatively inclusive and accurate.
