My Butt Hurts
This was very quick and easy to set up. It took me longer to get my old bike out of storage and pump up the tires than it did to put it on the trainer.I was so worried about noise from all the reviews I've read about other trainers because I have hybrid tires. The reviews here said how quite it is and they were right. Of course it makes noise but it's not very loud and I can hold conversations and hear the TV while I'm riding.Pros:QuietEasy to set upPriceCons:My butt hurts from using it so much - LOL :)

It does work and I'm satisfied with what I spent.
This is a fairly inexpensive unit similar to other trainers that are $200.There are a few things you need to know.1. The instructions are horrible and might as well not be included.2. You really should put this on top of a yoga mat. It greatly cuts down on the noise. After that it's really not that loud. You'll be glad at the noise reduction and something to catch the puddles of dripping sweat.3. Mine isn't 100% level not a deal breaker but worth noting and checking prior to trying to mount the bike. The yoga mat helped even things out. It's very stable but not tip proof. The very first time I went to jump on I nearly tipped things over. Not a fault of the trainer though.4. There isn't a huge difference in the various resistance levels but when you switch it if you've got things hooked up correctly you can hear a noticing click as it switches. This is confirmation of your setup.5. This is a great inexpensive trainer that works as advertised. Many folks spend lots of money on fitness equipment then never use it. If you like it and want to do some serious indoor training you might be happier investing in a smart trainer that hooks up to your computer or phone.I deducted a star because the directions suck and in no way tell how to use this product. I also think it should be level and isn't.

I love the fact that the item arrived on time and was described as advertised. I love the price and the color also. The only issue I have is that the instructions are not exactly clear and I have not been able to use the item as of yet. This is due to the fact that the last part of assembling it is a bit confusing. I hope I can get this problem rectified soon because I would love to use it. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. Hopefully if I get it assembled soon, I will send another review. This is an update,as of July 3,2016. I finally got the item assembled and have been using it. The item performs as described. I love the fact that it is cheaper than others and the blue color. There are others that are more expensive, but operate in a slightly different way, more so for avid, extreme bike riders. This is fine for getting in a workout when there is inclement weather and a moderate rider like myself. I would recommend this product, hence the upgrade from three to five stars.

good work out , noisy, inexpensive
It's what I had in mind. It is pretty noisy and no way to quiet it down while the rear tire is on the resistance roller.I am using a mountain bike with wide knobby tires...hence the noise. I sound like a very large jacked up truck ( I live ina second floor condo with a wooden floor.) The noise wouldn't be such an issue if used outdoors or in a garage or the like. The low price (under $57 USD) and the fast free shipping were the strong reasons to choose this model of trainerfrom this vendor. Plus it has an easy mount cable control resistance adjustment that mounts on the handle bars.Once everything adjusted, it's a good work out. Features: Noisy, well made welds, cheap to keep. I compared this to a trainer I saw at a local bike shop that was three times higher priced. This would be extra cool if I were charging batteries or other renewable energy saver.I would give this 4 stars if it made less noise during use....the faster you pedal, the louder it gets.

Ok for the price point
I found the assembly to be pretty easy. One important step in the assembly was not in the instruction. The two screws that hold the plastic bracket in place. Other than that it was set up and ready to go in about 10 minutes. Mine for some reason has a very noticeable tick that gets louder the faster I pedal. Also the roller gets incredibly hot. After 15 minutes my room smelled like melting rubber and the roller was too hot to touch. At this point I am not sure if this will make it through the coming winter. I guess for the price I can over look some of the minor issues. Resistance level 1 will not engage. I have no intention of using such a low resistance, but it just kind of bugs me that it doesn't engage. Maybe for the money it just is what it is.

The price was good and the reviews were good and when I unboxed ...
I bought this trainer to use on rainy days or at night. The price was good and the reviews were good and when I unboxed the trainer it seemed to be sturdy and somewhat well built. When I tried to set it up, there was a manufacture defect in the right assembly that tensions against the bike wheel skewer and holds the bike on the stand. It was not welded straight inline with the left assembly so I couldn't mount the bike onto the stand. I returned for refund. I thought cheap was good but "Not". I did some research and spent the extra money for a "Fluid" trainer (Bright Green, starts with a "K") which was a lot better. I hope you have better luck than I did if you purchase this Magnetic trainer. "Happy Cycling"

I use this in the winter.
So I have been using for awhile, I like this better than a stationary bike. I bring my bike in for winter months and use this then. Though I am not to crazy on the sound and how tough it can be, not a very smooth ride. But I make due since I know it can't be exactly like out on the trails. I don't ever really use the gauge to change because it doesnt seem to work totally for me. So I keep it at one spot and just change the gears on my bike itself.

I have recommended this to others
So as of now almost 2 years later I have hundreds of hours on this trainer and have had zero problems with it. I would purchase it again if something happened to it. I have recommended this to others. It is a bit on the loud side but my light sleeping wife never has a problem when I use it at night. She said she never heard it go figure. And I put a light tread road tire on the bike that helped a bunch.
