Llewellyn's 2020 Astrological Calendar: 87th Edition of the World's Best Known, Most Trusted Astrology Calendar

2020's astrology calendar is disappointing, to say the least! Whereas this year's had gorgeous artwork, next year's is truly ugly. Obviously a different artist, someone more "edgy" & "dark." The paintings for the most part don't apply to the zodiac sign they're supposedly representing. For example, Capricorn shows a crow instead of a goat; Leo has no lion in it; Scorpio has a huge frightening snake instead of a scorpion; etc, etc! I'm saving this year's art to tape over the pictures in next year's calendar. If I'd seen the artwurk in the 2020 calendar first, I'd never have bought it! Llewellyn - WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!?!?!

First let me apologize to Jim Maynard & I am elated you are alive,well & just retired unlike what I had been told & seen in post sent to me. People are trash & you have done the world a service by your calendars for astrologists. Enjoy your retirement to the fullest & hope you have many years to continue that. As always since their conception, your biggest fan girl ever. I miss you & your calendars deeply. Now to Llewellyn: you have been a mainstay in the metaphysical world for a long long time but you calendars leave much to be desired by real astrologists. I would much rather have a small pretty picture with a monthly ephemeris on the side where I can do a quick check than a large picture in an oversized calendar that doesn't want to stay on the wall. I could even live with the bigger size with just the monthly ephemeris and then the full dark or new moon with any eclipses & would love additional equinoxes and solstices & religious holidays on the day tabs. This would be great for people that just want the bare minimums of any astrology aspects & sun/rising sign quips. Love your witch calendars and would say combo a real astro calendar with some of that & would pay double if need be. Personally don't see how anyone on any path of the craft would not want to have all aspects at their fingernail tips as it is important on when you do what & serious business. Truly love you guys but this isn't it

This calendar is in Eastern time zone only. I wish it was available in Pacific time.This is BIG wall calendar so be sure you have the space to hang it.Beautiful art work and astrological monthly forecasts for each astrological sign on each month.

Pop-astro crap, but at least there are aspects on the daysPerhaps I shall print an ephemeris from my astro program and paste it in each month to make thing thing somewhat usefulDunno what pictures graced the previous calendars, but the 2020 pics are horrifying. I keep expecting to see a vampire next.....

Love the calendar and all that it shows that happens each day, but NOT fond of and really do not gravity toward the art work for 2020!!Sure would like for the calendar to be of a smaller size that is more manageable - like an 8 inches by 10 inches!Please, consider what I have asked for years and that is to have a smaller size!Thanks!

From the blog reviews, I expected something like diabolical artwork. What a sweet surprise to open this calendar and find ANGELIC artistry. The bad reviews are such an enigma! The only thing I would change is to present the Scorpio reptile with a more colorful brilliance like a lot of them have; this really isn't a threatening presentation of him at all. And . . . my Leo husband wants all of you to know that there most certainly IS a lion in August!

I had always purchased Jim Maynard's Celestial Influences calendar, which is beautiful and, in addition to the monthly calendar showing all the aspects and moon position for each day, it also contained a full-page sized monthly ephemeris. Unfortunately, Jim retired this year and is looking for someone to take over the publication. This is my first year purchasing the Llewellyn calendar. There are two pages containing the monthly ephemeris but you need a magnifying glass to read the print. I spent an hour cutting up the months and enlarging them on my printer so I had a full size page. The monthly calendars have the same problem with the print -- it needs to be larger and darker. This is advertised as the best selling astrology calendar. I'm not impressed. I'm hoping someone steps up and takes over Jim Maynard's publication for 2021.

Total disappointment! Designs are not applicable to months' symbolism: what a Samurai with a crow on his shoulder has to do with Capricorn? And most of the other designs are ugly and absurd. It seems to me the purpose of this calendar was to celebrate females (regardless of the appropriateness or not) with a few androgynous males in the mix, trying to appear fair and balanced.I also found the Ephemeris Tables too small, difficult to follow. I guess I miss the clear and concise Maynard's calendar, with daily Lunar aspects, as well as monthly planetary positions. Unfortunately Maynard did not publish a calendar for 2020. But whatever, I will definitely not buy a Llewellyn's Astrological calendar ever again.

Buy these llewllyns calendars every year. My friends love them. Beautiful pictures. Colourful.Horoscopes. Recommended.
