Stops leaks fast
I used the sealant for a crack in a hot tub. Having already used a different product, I wasn't convinced that this would work and we would have to drain the tub and fibreglass the crack.After mixing the putty I applied the putty to the inside of the tub underwater, and it did just what it should and stuck to the tub. It was easy to mould and I was able to fill the crack. The leak stopped without having to apply it on the out side of the fibreglass, although I did for extra bonding.Thoroughly recommend this product, wear gloves when mixing, I didn't and the chemical burns a bit. I couldn't get gloves to enable me to apply this underwater, but would find some in the future.Excellent product.

Did the job for me
Expensive but does the job- used on fibreglass boat leak. Mixes well by kneading through fingers- gloves recommended.

Chewing gum would be more effective…
About as useful as chewing gum for fixing a leak, but chewing gum would be cheaper and probably taste better. Used it to stop a pinhole leak in a mains pressure reserve tank. Instructions say it remains malleable for 15 minutes and machinable after an hour. After 4 hours I could still make an imprint with my fingernail, and water was still seeping out around the edges of the putty, despite using about half the pack on a tiny leak.Maybe on a swimming pool with pressure behind it to force it into any crack it could work, but for me it was useless.
