Great value and they do the job

I've tried other freezer bags over the years to save money. I always come back to Ziploc freezer bags. I don't care to spend big bucks on sandwich baggies, but for freezing food items these are the only ones I'll ever buy. I use the Ziploc Perfect Portions baggies for meal prepping meats, veggies and fruits. I shove a ton of stuff into one gallon size bag, label it and pop it in the freezer. These are sturdy; they WORK. No freezer burn if you get all the air out. If you use the Perfect Portions to put food items into the gallon size bags in individual serving sizes you can easily reuse these tough bags over and over again. They even stand up well to washing with soap and hot water. I'm done wasting my money on knock-off brands. These are the only ones I'll every buy.

I'm in the same situation as the other reviewer. I am living overseas where, with the exchange rate, it's so much more expensive to buy at the local store than to order from here on Amazon. As such, I cannot comment on how these compare monetarily to others readily available in the States as I am extremely limited in choice, but I can say that these work perfectly for my needs. They seal tightly and even after months in the freezer, there isn't freezer burn or air in the bags. I would buy these again in a second if I didn't have so many on hand already.

As a dedicated gardener, cook, baker, and preserver, I use many freezer bags. I've found Ziploc to be of the highest quality, and have never found a single one that slipped past quality control, as I have found in some others. Also, the prices at Amazon (plus free shipping) make me very happy. Because I am frugal (ok, cheap!), very often I reuse the bags and they hold up very well. The only ones I will NOT reuse are those I have given away filled with produce or homemade foods and those that have held raw meats of any type.I especially like the double zipper feature that lets you hear it sealing! My life would be complete if they only made a special sized and shaped bag for home made bread loaves!High quality and best price...yes, I recommend these highly.

I use these for everything. Yes, for food storage in the freezer, but also for wet swimsuits coming home from the Y, mailing food and drink packets to our friend serving in the Peace Corps in the South Pacific (and she is VERY grateful to get them - finally just sent her a whole box of them with our last shipment), for keeping left over corn chips crisp and left over playdough soft. I throw three or four of them in our luggage when we travel to segregate the REALLY dirty clothes (hello, kids and mud) from the not so dirty ones in the suitcase. I throw the shampoo bottles in one of these before packing them - if they burst in the suitcase, the clothes stay shampoo free. Same with the bottle of mosquito repellant and sunscreen. Our pet bird's millet strands stay in one of these to keep the fly-away seeds in the bag instead of on my carpet. Just wildly useful little things, I order them by the case now from Amazon because they are an indispensable part of my home-keeping.

These are ziploc bags. The listing is more expensive that some other options at times however these actually arrived undamaged. Before you wonder how could you manage to screw up a delivery of ziploc bags, let me answer with weird god knows what absolutely disgusting goo that leaked all over plastic bags I ordered on amazon previously. Im so happy that these actually just arrived and are bags that you can put things in... even zip them closed. 2018. Fly bys. Air to ground and surface to air warfare in urban centers especially. People flying into buildings. People dive bombing crowds in population dense/target rich areas like times square, the super bowl, name a concert, etc. People improperly maintaining their vehicles ending up crashing randomly in population dense areas. People installing genius things like porn apps on the flying vehicles dash that invariably gives it a virus and allows it to be used as a missile. People failing to register their vehicle properly and having an entirely new type of police pursuit with significantly more new risks. Meth, crack, heroin addicts and drunks flying while intoxicated into god knows what. Thats without even actually thinking of anything.Based upon humans track record as a species i would guess that some genius will invariably slap an "inferior" life form if we can ever make it off the planet and tell them that their planet etc belong to humans because btw earths flat and everything revolves around humans we da best. That species would probably snap its finger and make a mockery of the entirety of humans.These are all things that humans could someday hope to fail as miserably and epically at scale as they do numerous other analogous things currently or they already do. It was what I was promised would already be happening by now. However I'm at least happy to inform you that I have finally received a box of ziploc bags undamaged with which to put things in and zip. This is an incredible accomplishment for mankind and speaks volumes to the competency of the species. 2018 truly is like living in the future. Somebody mailed a box with plastic bags and it arrived. The bags worked as bags work though theres multiple identifiable problems. Ive tried every brand out there and this is the only one that truly truly works. They are kinda expensive but totally worth the price. Hefty, store brands, etc. Ziploc isnt perfect but its the closest thing to it. The freezer thing... ya its not quite as good as it could be but it beats every other by far. And by far in every way.
