GM Genuine Parts 15-63666 (20913751) Air Conditioning Condenser

So I read many of the reviews here as part of my research before purchasing. Many said it was cheap some said it did not fit correctly. For me it fit perfectly as advertised for the make, model, and range of years supported. And I did not find it cheap so far. The question will be can it handle flying debris while driving? Not sure but the build appears to be good enough. As far as working, the vacuum seal held, no leaks the first time so long as you ensure to change the o-rings (rubber seals) sold separately. Fit perfectly and I mean perfectly. Only two small bolts hold it in and the bottom of the unit sits on top of two rubber grommets that provide dampening and structure support.

Exact AC Delco direct replacement and after install with new compressor, accumulator and orfice tube the ac system work like new. Could not be more pleased. As far as other reviews about fit, clearly, they did not check the fit at other parts stores to make sure they were ordering the correct part number. Furthermore, reviews complaining about this not being painted black have no clue about replacement parts. The original one is painted black because that is how they did them back in the day. And the new ones are not painted, however, they are aluminum so there really is no value in painting them and just cost the manufacturer more to produce.

Since it was half the price of the dealer and the auto parts store, I took a chance on having a delicate radiator shipped. It shipped double boxed, well packaged and delivered with no ill effects. It fit perfect in my 1999 Silverado 5.3L and the A/C now blows cold again!. Although it would be nice if it came with the two seals needed, I needed other seals too so I bought the bag of A/C seals anyway. After watching a few videos, this was a very easy job to replace the condenser and recharge the system. The other stuff I needed to finish the job- PAG oil, Seals, 28oz of R134A and borrowed the A/C recharging tools from the local auto parts store.

Did not perform AC is not blowing COLD my ASE said this is was the problem. The entire system was changed out⁉️

Perfect fit plus it’s a gm original part

I had to do a complete A/C rebuild on my 1999 Silverado and this condenser is exactly like the original. The only difference is that the condenser is not black as shown but is bare aluminum. No biggy but it does show through the grill a little. It comes with the rubber mounts on the top and you just set it down in the original rubber mounts at the bottom when you pull the old condenser out. Got my system up and running great. FYI you can't flush an old condenser like you can the lines and evaporator core. So go with this OEM condenser and you won't go wrong.

Small shop looking to save on parts, but sometime the cheaper turns out to be more expensive in the end. Hence this story, purchased with customer's approval, a cheaper condenser. Either a repack or defective condenser we went through two evacuation and charging cycles, both would not get past the orifice tube. If you can demand OEM if available.

Exactly the same as the factory condending coil, worked great, went in easy, lost one star for bad flaking paint (surface was poorly prepared if at all on the ends, coil is good) but its an all around good product at a good price so far

Its a OE part, the box has a GM tag on it and it fits and works perfect.

Did not come with hardware. I was sure I read that it did. But never the less. Felt abd looked good. Works good. No complaints.
