Using herbal dyes is always harder then regular box colors, it is usually very grainy and hard to apply without it falling everywhere! Not this one! The powder is very fine which makes it much easier to use a solid paste. For a dark brown hair try mixing a little of "blue black" into "ash brown". Everyone is different, you will need to find your own formula. It takes 2 applications to completely cover the grey, but it works! If you have a lot of grey and want highlights, find a proper mix for your hair color and grey will look like beautiful highlights. If you are new to herbal dyes it will take some experimentation to get it right. The good news is that you can keep experimenting and not worry about damaging your hair!

If I could give this zero stars I would. 1. Stinks to high heavens but I was willing to give this a try anyhow. 2. Leaked/spilled all over my skin the whole time even though I followed the directions exactly. 3. Didn’t work even a little even though I kept it on for 2 hours. The most useless hair color I’ve ever used in my entire life.

Easy process, does have a woodsy smell (wears off). Wasn't great at covering the random gray hairs, will try a second round. I love that it's a natural dye & healthy for the scalp!

Such a treat. This was far easier than any other henna products I’ve used and such a short processing time comparably. The color starts off dark and lightens after a few washes. I will try the light brown next time due to this fact.

APPLICATION IS EVERYTHING! If you are purchasing this, you’re doing it because it has no chemicals and is 100% natural. So yes, it stinks because there is no added fragrance; get over it. This works if you apply it correctly. It must be the right consistency (not runny and not thick) and temperature. Second tip, it will stain anything porous rather quickly. Make sure to put towels down when you apply it and rinse it off somewhere without grout (I rinse it with a handheld shower nozzle in my bathtub). If you can correctly apply it, it does work. In my opinion, it’s worth it to not use chemicals.

I tried it on a section of my hair and it worked pretty well! I should apply it to the rest and focus a bit more on the greys, but overall, I’m happy with the result. It’s true that it takes some time to settle. I’m not sure how long it’ll last, but it’s definitely a good alternative to chemical dyes.

Je n'utilise maintenant que ces teintures pour mes cheveux. Très simple d'utilisation mais senteur forte. Garde mes cheveux en santé et couvre bien les cheveux blancs.

Empiezo por decir que estoy muy contenta con este producto, que SI cubre las canas, peeeero hay que pillarle el truquillo. Lo usé una primera vez y dejé el tinte por 3 horas el color fue precioso pero las canas salieron rubias. Los errores que hice furon en mi opinión: 1) no poner agua suficientemente caliente. En las instrucciones pone, de forma no muy clara, que para cubrir canas el agua tiene que estar a 80 grados. yo herví el agua y la dejé 5minuto para que bajara a 80 grados y creo que ese tiempo fue demasiado. 2) No poner suficiente agua. Puse la cantidad de agua recomendada, pero en mi opinión esa no es suficiente, hay que mirar y añadir poco a poco y hacer que se quede como una crema fácil de distribuir con el pincel. 3) No dejar unas 2 o 3 cucharadas de polvo para repasar. Al cabo de una semana lo volví a comprar y solo usé una dos o 3 cuchradas de polvo solo para cubrir las canas. Herví agua y la dejé reposar un minuto (o algo menos) y la añadí muy caliente y estando atenta de que quedara de una consistencia buena para distribuir con el pincel. Esta vez solo lo dejé actuar 2 horas y las canas están completamente cubiertas. Las dos veces me enjuagué con abundante agua y al final con una mezcla de agua y vinagre de manzana. Para los que dicen que huele mal.. es verdad pero una vez lo quitas apenas se nota y diría que si la alternativa es usar tintes que huelen mejor pero que son químicos, que te estropean el pelo y te envenenan.. no se... yo me quedo con lo de aguantar el olor unas horas..

OMG , ich bin so froh dass ich mir diese Farbe gekauft hab! Hatte zuerst Bedenken, dass meine Haare vielleicht total trocken und rauh sind danach, da ich seither mit Movida 45 dunkelbraun getönt habe und auch schlechtes Billigshampoo benutzt habe und noch das Sprühkleber Zeug von got2b usw. und dachte meine Haarstruktur ist bestimmt voll angegriffen. Hatte eigentlich alles dafür getan😂🤔 Zuerst habe ich meine Haare mit Sante Shampoo Birke gewaschen (auf das bin ich heute umgestiegen), dann noch mal mit dem Spezialshampoo von that's me organic (auch das erste Mal heute), dann die Tiefenreinigung von that's me organic gemacht um alle chemischen Produktreste zu entfernen von dem ganzen Schrott den ich seither benutzt habe, und dann die Farbe nach Anleitung angerührt, aber nur die halbe Packung, weil ich nur den Oberkopf färben wollte (meine Haare gehen bis zum Steißbein und sind lockig und von Natur aus dunkelblond/fast braun eigentlich, aber mit den Längen mache ich lieber nichts). Anstelle von Wasser habe ich Schwarztee genommen, der ewig gezogen hat und die Temperatur exakt eingehalten, das sind bei aschbraun 60° C. Dann etwas über zwei Stunden drauf gelassen. Ich hab noch zwei Einweg Duschhauben drüber gemacht, eine hinten und eine vorne weil eine alleine nicht über meinen Kopf und die Haare passt und dann die leicht vorgewärmte Wärmehaube von that's me organic drüber. Nachher einfach nur mit lauwarmem Wasser ausgespült, das ging ziemlich schnell alles rückstandslos raus und auch in der Badewanne sind keine Reste und dann habe ich das Aloe Splash von that's me organic reingemacht und noch ein paar Pflegeprodukte von Bali Curls, und meine Haare sind einfach nur der Hammer! Erstens mal die Farbe, das ist ein richtig schönes dunkles aschbraun geworden, und zweitens, die Haare sind dermaßen weich geworden, das hätte ich nie erwartet. Mit der Intensivtönung, die ich davor immer benutzt habe, waren die Haare nie so schön weich. Ich habe eigentlich damit gerechnet, dass die Haare erstmal strohig sind, bis sie rausgewachsen sind, aber die sind direkt sowas von weich geworden, ich bin richtig glücklich über meine Haare. So eine schöne Haarfarbe und so schöne Locken hatte ich ewig nicht mehr. Hab gleich drei Packungen nachbestellt😍 Evtl. steige ich trotzdem auf ne hellere Farbe um, da meine Haare in 3 Tagen 5mm wachsen, also in der Woche etwas über einen cm. Das ist extrem viel und sehr anstrengend auf Dauer, und deshalb, damit man den dunkelblonden Ansatz nicht so schnell sieht, werde ich evtl. noch etwas blond dazumischen, dann ist der Kontrast nicht so groß...
