Positives: - this is the one to buy!- Simple to install, small, slim & smart looking - feel's solidly attached & robust. Has just the right resistance, so it's easy to slide under your thumb, but you can be confident that it won't slide open on it's own.- Has a plenty large enough hole for my laptop camera. As another reviewer's photo showed, it's much smaller than the other common style at this price point, but also has a larger camera hole!Negatives:- The title and description say 'metal', whereas this is obviously black plastic. I don't see this as a negative - plastic is perfect for this application & blends with my back plastic laptop, just don't like the false marketing.- The only weird thing is the current price point - the 2 pack has a cheaper unit cost than the 3 or 5 pack?!

I bought these after getting a scare from a scam email. I know apple products always show a little green light when the camera is in use, but I wanted something more secure.This was really easy to attach and has stayed in place. It also doesn't affect the closure of my macbook air, which I was worried about.I only needed one so I gave the other to my parents.Great product 👌

Very neat little gadget. The item is tiny so you need to be careful when taking off the backing sheet, ensure you get the item the right way round and don't blank out your light source. But... it is so neat, discreet and handy to use, you just slide the window back and forth as needed, it's so helpful for Zoom calls or for covering up your camera. Fits very neatly over the lens on my Mac and closes with a rather satisfying but quiet click, very pleased and really recommend.

This was ideal for one of my laptops, but a little too small for the other, so I've kept the second cover in the pack as a spare and also ordered a larger model. I'd suggest some measuring be done before you buy.Given their size, they can be fiddly to attach neatly and straight, but the included clear sticker helps. Once attached, they slide as advertised, to block the camera and are a good product. Smart and discrete, they also look better than the mini-bulldog clip I used to block the camera before this purchase.

All of my college classes are on Microsoft teams due to covid 19. I've accidentally turned the camera on a few times, and thought I would order this to stop it happening. It was really easy to install and comes with instructions to use sticky tape to help you apply. I've tested my webcam with it in place, and it doesn't block any light when open. When it is closed, it is complete darkness. The cover itself is absolutely tiny and very thin. I don't see it being a problem on any laptop when closing, as most laptops have rubber strips around the inside of lid and the cover is even thinner than these. Great value for money!

These are perfect. Very small - you won't even notice they are there when they are on. Very very thin - your laptop will close fine - I've got it on both my Dell laptops and they don't get in the way.A tiny bit tricky to put on as they are so small and you just have to try to line it up with the camera and then drop it on and push it down - but you can re-adjust a little before you press down so should be ok. The instructions on packaging talk about a transparent sticker that you are supposed to put on the front temporarily to help you line it up before sticking it down - but mine didn't come with any. That would have been really useful. I got both mine lined up ok though - worth turning the camera on on your laptop while you stick it on so you can see if you are obstructing the lens at all.

Excellent covers and metal so should last alot longer.Was initially concerned about being a bit more expensive than others but they are very good, easy to fit with extra clear strip to it on front of cover so not so fiddly to fit and alot easier to locate accurately.Definitely worth the extra couple of quid. 👍
