I originally purchased these zip ties to assist in holding up the cleaning guards for my rat and rabbit enclosures. While the zip ties are a good length, width, and easy to use, they are not chew-proof. Our animals managed to chew through them within a couple of days.That said, I’ve also used some of the spares for less demanding purposes, and they’ve worked well. They have a strong locking grip and securely hold several items together. I haven’t tested them with extreme weight, but based on their structural integrity, I’d expect them to handle a decent load without issues.Overall, these are a solid option if you’re looking for standard zip ties. Just keep in mind that they may not be ideal for situations involving animals prone to chewing.
