Bought & Sold: An Investigative Documentary About the International Trade in Women (Home Use)

I bought the documentary..."bought and sold; an investigative documentary about the international trade in women" and thought this was a very good and insightful film.the documentary talks about the evil traffikers of women from around the world lying to the ladies saying they can be rich and have anything their hearts desire only to find out they are prostitutes in a foreign country and often times not even being paid either, which is awful. most of the pay goes to the pimps and the prostitutes live on credit ,which is barely enough to live by and support their families they left behind at home. the documentary talks to the few prostitutes who arent afraid to speak up of this practice about the horrors of the traffiking of women. most ladies are afraid to speak out because the russian mob and other criminal groups control them and speaking out could mean death to them or family members.they even talked to a lady trying to help them but far more needs to be done for these ladies. i think many people still dont know traffiking of women still goes on in modern society and their i think lies the biggest problem. this is a much reccommended documentary of the traffiking of women. i only wish it was longer instead of 42 minutes or so but it's still worth the watch!

It is sad to live in a world where inhuman people (with a greed for money) would "kidnap" woman and children with the premise of a "better life" only to be sold into sex or labor slavery. This film is a must see by every parent (worldwide)of young girls and children. It should also be viewed by young women to give them knowledge and insight as to what most likely will happen when offers for travel and job opportunities in foreign countries seem too good to be true.

Bought as a christmas present for my son who plans to be a missionary and has become very interested in helping bring women out of this life, with a lot of help from others.Hopefully this will help him delve a little more into what he is already learning about this awful world.I would buy from this seller again.

Documentary style film..informative..but a bit slow for me
