Started to come apart due to wear and tare but definitely got the value out of it for the money. The gloves are still useable but holes are forming and I have to be careful about how to hold trays coming out of the oven.

These black on the hand and red on the outside gloves have worked very well for my grilling. These have been excellent for heat resistance and flexibility when moving wok or the silicone mats that are in my Weber spirit grill. I've been able to hold and move grill racks and not burn my fingertips when removing my thermometer probes that are connected to a Bluetooth device. And I especially like that they are long and also protect the tops of my hands when turning kabobs over.

These gloves work well for the BBQ but less so in the kitchen as we have noticed that if they get wet they actually conduct heat rather than block it. Also not great for holding things for a long period of time. Have gone back to old-fashioned mitts for carrying large heavy and hot pots etc... but for the grill these are great.

So These gloves do protect your hands from the heat of a fire. I have been using them frequently putting wood in my stove and doing maintenance on the stove while I have a fire burning. However, these definitely not work gloves. They will protect your hands but will not take a lot of abuse. The ware you are seeing here in these pictures is with about a month of use. The cost is too high for constant replacement. They do protect your hands from heat however I believe I will have to get some welders gloves to use in the future. For use with a Grill, they may be fine. Just do not try to do too much with them on. Put them on as protection when you need them and use work gloves for anything else. They are very comfortable but again do not fully serve the purpose I purchased them for.

I have dainty lady hands, but this item is both tight around my wrists and to large for my hands. It's an enigma.However, due to the tightness, I can say that I never worry about the gloves slipping off.I only use it for pulling items out of the oven. Unlike my oven mitts, I can hold an item for longer than a few seconds before I start to feel any heat. It's been a valuable purchase for me, and I use them daily.

These gloves fit well and work great. I bought the larger size and they are quite comfortable and stay put on my hands. I use them with my chimney starter and kettle grill, and so far they are doing just what they are supposed to do. They feel heavy duty, and resist heat well, and I've never felt uncomfortable when using them. I guess time will tell how well they hold up, but I expect they will be just fine as they're not flimsy at all, seem to be a well made product. I would recommend these gloves, I think for the price you can't go wrong.

Works perfectly to pickup anything hit easily but get the largest size. Both my wife and I agree it is too tight otherwise. Don't constantly assume you are totally protected. Once and only once I got a somewhat hot spot while trying to pick something up. Got some really sticky dough on it a d decided to clean it in the sink with hot water. After just a little while and using my finger nails got it all off pretty easily. Really like these gloves. But someone we know just doesn't want to try them no matter what so if you want to give them as a gift find out first.

Able to withstand the heat for a few seconds. The heat will eventually get through & into your hands, but 95% of the time, you will be through handling your hot items long before your hands start to cook.

These gloves do as they are suppose to do, allow you to pick up hot items and not burn your hands. Although a bit bulky you still have some dexterity to do things with your fingers.
