Works great
My grill's igniter system stopped working after less than two weeks. Boo! I've been lighting it with matches, which is annoying. I decided to try this. It works great.I wish the neck were just a little bit longer, but unless you have a particularly deep reach, this should work for you.It has an on/off switch and a pushbutton as well as 5 small LEDs to show you the state of charge. It charges easily from a (I think) micro-USB connector, the same tiny connector as some of my other USB-charged items.I also tested it with candles. Worked for that, too. Probably won't work if the wick is embedded in the wax or something like you can get with new candles, but as long as the wick is properly exposed, it worked fine.I like that it's entirely electronic -- no butane required.

Snazzy usable striker
This is a great flameless gadget to light stoves, gas bbqs, anything gas ignitable or for just zapping friends. Cool idea. This unit is rechargeable.

A Mostly Good Product
It is a relief to finally have a grill lighter that lights every time, doesn't require liquid fuel, and reliably works in the wind. Our grill is in an open area where the wind blows most of the time, and lighting paper scraps in the bottom of our charcoal chimney with lighters that blow out easily has been a constant source of frustration. There are a couple of minor downsides. First, this lighter includes a short charging cable in the box, but the cable has male USB-A on one end and male micro USB on the other. The charge port on the lighter itself is female micro USB. USB-A is quickly disappearing, but micro USB is a very old connection standard that has pretty much vanished from new products. So unless you have plenty of old micro USB charging cables stuffed in nearby drawers, you'll need to keep track of the one that comes with the lighter. And the best way to do that is to keep both it and the lighter in the slim box they came in.The second questionable design choice is the "child safety lock." This is just a small plastic switch that easily slides between "off" and "on." Any child who handles the lighter will quickly discover this slider and instinctively know how to operate it, as it doesn't take much pressure to change positions. Once in the "on" position, pressing the small starter button just above it will ignite the lighter. In fact, it's easy to just leave the so-called safety lock in the "on" position all the time, so all that is needed is to press the ignition button. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's definitely not a child safety lock.

Awesome lighter for gas stoves
Works perfectly. After several months, it has been wonderful. It has been instrumental in delaying my needing to replace the ignitors on my gas stove...

Lightweight and easy to use
With my loved one having arthritis, it was hard using the long nose standard flame lighter. This one is lightweight and easy to use. I can see why some think The charge doesn’t last long. It’s because being fascinated with that arc that’s used to ignite. lol.

Excellent grill/burner lighter.
Good length to reach any burner. Reliable. No flame or butane is greaat.

Head is large
Lighter works good. The negative that I see is that the head of the unit is so large that I have to move a grate aside to be able to put it near a burner to light it.

Love This Thing
One of the burners on our stove has a faulty igniter (I know, I know, I'll fix it tomorrow). We used to buy butane stick lighters from the big box store and throw them away after they ran out of fuel. It felt incredibly wasteful, so I did some research and found this little guy.First off, it's faster and more effective at lighting the gas burner than the old butane ones ever were. It's rechargeable, so no more throwing away lighters or fumbling around with butane trying to refill them. It's economical, since the amount of electricity it takes to recharge this thing costs pennies. And, perhaps most importantly, it's really fun to use. I love seeing and hearing that plasma arc ignite at the end.It also works for lighting candles, etc., though it takes a little bit of practice to learn how to use it effectively.5/5 - Would definitely recommend

Works well and looks cool while it does!
Fantastic product. Used it for a few days. The arc creates a faint buzz and works very well with our PNG stove.
