I use my Food saver for many different things. I make homemade bacon, sausage, etc. I just bagged 37 bags of homemade maple cured bacon. This bacon takes time and isn't necessarily cheap to do. Originally bought it to use for Sous Vide and thus far I have gotten excellent use out of it, it is very simple and satisfying, It comes with quite a few bags, and its cheaper than buying zip-lock bags and so much faster than trying to work out the air pockets by submerging them into the water bath. I have recently started using it to store meat in the fridge after discovering that the deals that I have bought at the market have long expired in the freezer. I'm happy to have in the kitchen. I find it easy to operate from the first use. It definitely keeps the food fresher and much longer than normal which means in the long term you can save money. That was the reason for my purchase. I tried meat, vegetables, and fruits and froze it for future use. I was expecting a big difference on tasing after re-open the sealed product but for my surprise, it was the opposite. The taste was really good.It is very easy to use, and has a strong built quality to it, it definitely does not feel cheap, if you sous vide, this is a must buy

This is my first vacuum sealer. I never had one before. so at first, I was a little confused but It is actually very easy to use, very simple just click one bottle. That's it. It is all done by one click. It works very well. The first test was vacuum sealing left over fresh tofus. It is amazing. After seal, the old food turns to a totally new food as it was from the shop in just one seal. This machine also come with free a lot of bags in the box but however I also bought extra bags from this seller as well.  This machine is exactly what i was looking for to keep foods sealed and stay fresh. I live alone so I don't exactly buy in bulk. However, I do come across sales and have had some luck with a small garden in my back yard and wanted something to help keep my food fresh(er) longer. This vacuum bag system works like a charm.To be honest, I'm not really interested in putting a lot of time into figure out things for the kitchen. That is why I loved the sealer - it was intuitively designed and easy to operate. Depending on how you shop, the initial 10 bags that come with the unit might not last you long, so keep that in mind when ordering and consider getting a few extra.

With our children all out of the house, we let the economy of scales of buying bulk groceries. I purchased a non-brand name vacuum sealer and started buying pork meats again. I wa a little shocked when I saw the price of the 'Food Saver' brand of bags and thought I'd give these a try.These bags worked perfectly to break down our meats into 2 person servings (3 with leftovers sometimes). I did not have any issues with these bags - perfect seals, no condensation, and still air tight.I will purchase these again in the future. Great value compared to name brand bags.

Nice size. I needed to save some nuts, so that's what you see. Then I sealed and cooked a piece of chicken and pork. It tested the heat endurance, because I just slopped it in a pan with water instead of a properly sized water bath, then sped the process up a bit. It held up great.Even using a decades old sealer, the bags did great. Tested on both level 1 and 2 sealing time and sealed like a charm.Arrived in great condition in the clear plastic bag you see pictured.

This Vacuum Sealer is worth every penny I paid for it ! It replaces my old one of 12 years. It is wonderful to have 'fresh Cherries' in January. To vacuum pack them last summer, I put the Cherries on a cookie sheet to freeze in the freezer, { this prevents the vacuum machine from extracting any juices from the Fruit, Meat or any Vegetables}. Once frozen I put them in a vacuum type freezer bag , & vacuum-seal the product. This does keep all my frozen foods fresh for month , without 'freezer-burn'. This Machine has a very strong suction capability & I'm looking forward to use it for this Summers fresh fruit & vegetables. I can highly recommend this product, I have used it & I am satisfied with the performance.
