Love the extended hook
Love the extended hook, perfect for measuring houses on my own. Only issue I have is sometimes the hook will break under the tab and the tape will twist when rewinding. Otherwise very happy with this product

Not durable. Don't waste your money.
I am a residential appraiser and was happy with this tape for about two weeks. The first time it broke where the hook attaches to the tape. My husband was able to repair it in such a way that the measurement was still accurate, so I was glad to have it back. The hook is large and does a great job holding on to various surfaces. The second time it broke, the tape just tore in two. Love the idea of a large hook, but the overall quality is poor. Don't waste your money.

Did I mention I like the claw
The claw at the end works very well...rounded corners on a house are no problem where other tapes have failed (I have used many over 30 years as an appraiser.) Also it seems to be the cheapest made tape I have ever owned, and I wonder how long it will last. The enclosed space at the end is the smallest of any tape I have ever had, and it is difficult getting a proper hold on it. AND it is way too expensive. Did I mention I like the claw??

This is great for measuring
This is great for measuring. The extra large hook makes measuring so much easier. I use mine for work daily and it holds up pretty good. Usually have to replace after about 2 years.

Great For Real Estate
I've used these Sokkia tape measures for over a decade in my appraisal business. They are my personal favorite because of the hook, which will hang on to wall corners that smaller clasps only dream about grasping. I would classify my treatment of the Sokkia as "high use" and usually wear the tape out within a year. However, I typically buy a replacement tapes instead of buying the whole unit. These are well made and dependable.

Great tape!
A great tape measure! I love the oversized hook. Buyer beware, though: It is ONLY marked in 10ths/100ths of a foot, NOT in inches! That is what I want, however, may not be your preference!

Great Product
An absolutely GREAT tool for appraisers. The Sokkia/Eslon 100' Fiberglass Appraiser's tape sets itself apart with its large "Hook" that allows for easy gripping of walls, etc. Additionally, the Fiberglass tape withstands all types of weather and is easily cleaned.
