Absolutely perfect!
Outstanding product, if your thinking about an all in one devise this is it! I'm using this with my IPhone 4S and I ride a Yamaha R1 with two brothers slip on exhaust (loud). It works awesome with Siri (make calls, hear navigation directions, listen to and reply to texts, hear my music, it does it all with you voice). There is plenty of volume coming out of the speakers to drowned out engine and wind noise. The auto volume adjust works perfectly on the lowest setting. I got the snowmobile version, the only differance is the chorded mic as opposed to the boom mic which works perfect with full face helmets. The range on the bike to bike is not bad and can here my buddies just fine. I am really pleased with the Scala Rider and recommend it to anyone looking to get one. Hope this helps steer someone in the right direction.

I am very happy with my purchase. I simply charged them up, read the instructions and was able to get the headsets to pay the radio, communicate and I even answered a call from my cell phone. What a fantastic way to ride a Snowmobile, Bike or 4-Wheeler. Now can I buy some snow so I can play outside with my new toy.Thanks Deborah,

Great headset
I'm very happy with my decision to purchase this product. When talking back and forth with my friends the communication is clear and I get no interruptions. The controls are easy to use (even with gloves on). Connections to my iPod (via wire) and phone (via Bluetooth) are quick and easy. I love my Scala Rider.

BEWARE snowmobile version!
Contrary to popular belief, this "snowmobile" version of the G4 is NOT the same as the motorcycle version with a corded mic. According to Cardo tech support, the snow version actually runs different software, and is not compatible with upgrades for the motorcycle version!I am finding this out the hard way, as Cardo released a 3.0 upgrade for G4 back in March '11 that adds new features and bug fixes, but I'm sitting here mid-July still not able to apply that upgrade to my snowmobile set.

Incompatible with many devices
The G4 is not compatible with many cell phones and is not compatible with any Bluetooth system used on the Honda Goldwing. After many discussions with the factory reps NO solution has been found and little hope of any ever being found. Since it is impossible to try this device out with your cell phone or any other device you have prior to purchasing it, I would not recommend the purchase of the Cardo G4 to anyone. Buyers beware.
