Gaining Confidence..
Amending my initial rating and review:I was somewhat surprised that MC-POWER contacted me with an offer to replace after my initial review and one star rating. Whatever the motivation I appreciate they are paying attention and wanted to make it right by replacing. I've had the new tower up for only a few days but it's all systems go for now. I''ll update again if the same thing happens in the coming weeks... Thanks for taking care of me MC-POWER I do appreciate it.-- Original--The unit worked for a few weeks then blew the top three ports. I'm down to two working ports and figure those will blow sooner than later. Plus now I'm concerned the load on the working ports may be too much. There is no clear way to open and check for a fuse. I've owned similar devices, and would absolutely NOT recommend this charger. Worse, I'm past the return date so I'm stuck eating this one.

Gotta love great customer support!
Wanted to follow up on my review posted on May 3rd regarding this charger. For whatever reason the charger had a few faulty ports working intermittently which I expressed to the seller. Their customer service rep reached out to me immediately and insisted on replacing the product which they did...new one came in the mail and it's working perfectly. I work in high tech and I understand that sometimes products fail especially electronics however, how a company responds to that failure is pretty important especially if they want future business. Happy to post a more positive review on the product and great customer support!

Bought this item in May and loved it until now (5 months later)
Bought this item in May and loved it until now (5 months later). It helped to charge everything we needed and worked great for keeping the desk a little more clutter-free. Unfortunately, this week half of the ports stopped working so now only the bottom two ports work for some reason, and I feel they are charging more slowly than they used to. Not sure what happened but I'm disappointed that now we can only charge two things at a time at the desk. Bought a replacement from elsewhere because my husband is concerned about electrical problems with only two ports working properly now.Update: Customer service contacted me within a day after posting this, and even though the item was no longer returnable they have offered to send a replacement. This worked great until recently so I'm looking forward to getting a replacement and hope it will last much longer!

charging hub for phones, tablets and all other battery items
good for my stuff by the bed the 30 watt is a good speed for what i need it for.a bit slower than my other charging hub but i will not be over charging things in the bed room with this.use 2 to three ports every day. nice to have this in a place that is now just for charging on a night stand, before we had phones and tablets all along the floor by the outlets. this fixes that.

works as expected, travel friendly
I have brought this device on multiple work trips, and it works great. My laptop has 2 USB ports and they are both being used(wireless mouse and second monitor display). The USB charger works independently from my laptop and allows me to charge my other devices (phones, tablet, portable battery backup, Verizon Jet-pack) while on the road, and is a necessity for the traveling professional. Very happy with the purchase.

This was my original review --This worked for 30days, then stopped. It charged slowly when all but the bottom port were plugged in. Do not waste your money. Cannot return it or it would go back!The seller has since contacted me and replaced the item! It was a surprising display of excellent customer service. The new charger appears to be working well. I will update if the problem arises again.

A must have for people who have multiple devices that use USB to charge
Why didn't I get this in the first place? Instead of using multiple outlets to plugin your devices, you can use this small tower to do it. I bought 2 of these, one for me and one for my wife. We can plugin our smartphone, eReaders, Tablets, fitness activity trackers, etc. and have them all together in one place! I can't believe I didn't find this before :) This is a great invention

USB charger worth considering.
Its a USB station hub. It does exactly what it says it does.I have had no problems with it, nor with charging any of the devices I use off of it. Its so far lasted the better part of six months, so its worth the price I paid for it. It does lack a modern style, however, if you can deal with utilitarian looks, its worth considering.
