Kid's Self Cleaning Beta Aquarium Bowl Tank by Unknown

My 8 year old saved his money and bought this so he could get a pet fish. This has worked out great for him. It is so easy for him to clean. He has a Betta in it and just keeps a jar of clean water next to his tank and every night he dumps the fresh water in and it pushes the dirty stuff out into another jar that he keeps under the spout. He refills his jar, dumps out the other one, and it's ready to go for the next night. The fish is doing great and he loves it. The light on top will have to be replaced with something better. I don't see that lasting very long. It's a shame they couldn't come up with a better lighting system for it.

We already had one and needed to get a second one for our new betta fish. It’s a fun size tank and easy for little kids to enjoy viewing them swim around and allows them to help safely add a little more water when needed and see a portion of the old water drain out the little tube.

This is a great starter fish tank. We love the rocks and the fake plant and the little LED light. Our betta fish seems to enjoy it. We bought a suction floating plant hammock as well. The cleaning process- it does push out the waste into the spout and into the cup. Because the rocks are so big- the food we are using sinks and sits on the rocks. It DID work as described however we ended up changing the water (which was easy and added our water conditioner) to get the water all the way clear. My son is 8 years old and I think it’s a great product to teach kids responsibility and care for pets.

The tank is thick enough, but somewhat of a hostile environment for the fish. It is way too small and the self cleaning is debatable.

This gravity water replacement system REALLY works! I tested it before I put any fish in and when I slowly pour the water into the tank, the water from the bottom of the tank got quickly flushed up and out of the tank via the plastic hose system with it's end part hanging outside the tank.The one down side is that you can't fill the tank up to the top brim with water because the hose will continue to push out any water that go beyond the height of the outer lip of the hose.My new betta love it and it is definitely much bigger than the little container he was living in at the pet store. First thing he did was swim up and down the tank inspecting it and finally approving his new dig.The little led lamp is sufficient enough to light the tank, amid on the dim side given how much deeper the tank really is for the light to be able to reach all the way down. I wish I could buy different color led light set up though, that would be even cooler.Another word of advice, do not drop this plastic tank while you are setting it up. It is a good solid tank when it sits on your table but it won't survive a drop from the table top to the floor, even while it is empty.

I bought it for my 8year old daughter. It came with dead batteries in the light. I like the idea of self cleaning.

This is great for plants! I need fish water for my plants so it helps a ton for filling a sprayer.Also my niece and nephew enjoy helping me clean it... the LED it comes with is pretty cheap and doesn’t keep it that lit.
