The kit came in a lot sooner then stated, thank you! The BCD seems high quality. I've done 2 dives and it seems like it's going to hold up for a long time. I love that the integrated weight pockets have a outside clip. The gear I rented was on the inside and was tricky. The BCD also has a velcro strap around your stomic , along with a buckle belt. I liked this a lot. Only thing im worried about is how long the velcro is going to hold up since its also used on the cylinder strap. My rental gear had a cylinder strap that just fastens tightly. With taking it on and off the tank multiple dives, I hope the velcro holds up.The stage one and 2 is awesome. It doesn't feel funny in your mouth or make noise agents your teeth. It feels high end with its adjustment knob. The stage one also has a swivel head which makes it easy not to have pull on your hoses. The stage two hose is also braided and not plane rubber making it more flexible. You dont feel pull when you look around under water, great feature. I just wish the stage 2 came with some type of instructions because I'm still not fully sure how to use the +/- lever and adjustment knob.I went with the puck computer and it seems straight forward. It does not come with instructions but you can find them on the mares site. You can set it to air or nitrox, tell it if your diving in fresh or salt water.I highly recommend this package for someone who wants everything in one shot and does not want to spend a lot of money.

Fantastic deal for new divers! If you are going on a dive vacation, buying this set is cheaper than renting the whole way. I give the dive computer only about 3 1/2 stars, it's not as easy to use (PLEASE READ MANUAL - EVEN BEFORE YOU DEPART ON YOUR TRIP!) as some, the display is not that bright, but it WORKS FINE. and will do well for you as either air or nitrox. Everything else is good. I never heard of HOG, Edge, Sea Elite, but I will tell you the equipment worked well on a week long dive trip. Got the "small" for 21 y/0 female weighing about 145 lbs. Could have gone with Medium but the sizing is forgiving so it worked well, no problems. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for the non-professional, new, or intermediate sport diver.I have been Scuba diving since 1982, and have logged hundreds (not thousands) of dives, I got this set for one of my daughters and I have been highly satisfied. Great equipment all around. Seriously saves so much money - my boyfriend is jealous of my gear, he says it’s nicer than what he got and he paid double for the same stuff. Plus Diver’s Supply has great customer service. I ended up going into a shop to switch my first stage from yoke to din, no charge.

Very happy with this gear. My wife is a new diver, and I bought it for her for Christmas. Now that she owns her own gear, we Dive a lot more. Getting ready to go on a Caribbean trip now.Highly recommend this gear. As always, when I am buying gear that could be associated with danger such as Scuba, I was a little nervous, especially when I’m not able to touch it or try it. Very happy with the purchase. The gear works absolutely perfectly.

Great scuba gear , but the best customer service I’ve ever experienced .Diver supply is awesome , they were out of stock on the bcd I ordered for my wife , that did not slow down her birthday though . The customer service staff at diver supply upgraded her bcd to the latest greatest model and shipped it next day air - what an amazingly cool thing to do . Thank you again :) . Overall super happy with this product since I am a beginner diver and not looking to invest in a $1000 BCD...yet. I've spent 5 hours underwater with this gear so far, so here's my experience.Regs: super comfortable and doesn't press up against the lip. The octopus is a tad longer than my liking, but I'm sure I'll appreciate the length if I ever have a buddy that needs it. The regs themselves are worth the price.BCD: I am 5"11 150lbs and I got a medium. Its a little big on me and a small would have been a better size. I like the integrated weight system, and the pockets are huge! My BCD doesn't inflate evenly (hence the four star), and I have to do the wiggle to move the air around for even inflation. I don't have any gear that could be causing this issue, my last dive I dove with no extra attachments and still had the issue.Dive computer: Great dive computer with a big button. It's not intuitive as claimed, and requires a small learning curve. The dive computer is so important, so reading the user manual is a must anyway. Beside that, I really like the watch and will probably stick with Mares in the future. Just FYI, make sure you buy the dive computer data cord (sold separately) if you want to download your data. The size of the screen is about the size of the top of a soda can, so a little bulky.

This set up was great! Went to Akumal and Cozumel and had zero issues. I still need to spend more time with my Mares Puck as I didn't really get proficient with its use. The Reg was great and the BCD was really nice.

Dive computer was much better than I expected, regulator package was very good, the BCD was also really nice but not the same as the the one in the picture. The weight pockets were on the tank. Also included an American flag which I really liked. Overall, an exceptional package for the price in my opinion. This is my first gear, so I am comparing it to the equipment that I used in my padi training & what I rented in Mexico.
