Optimate Cable O-47, Adapter, Ducati Port to SAE Plug

I have a basic maintainer and needed the adapter for the under seat plug on 2016 Ducati Monster 1200r. Perfect fit, good price. Saved my battery over the winter.

Needed a battery tender. Only after I got one did I think it through. On my Ducati Monster the battery is not easily accessible, as you know if you are reading this. I was making plans to route some wires etc when I decided to google it first. There was one (and only one) youtube video and the guy mentioned this adapter cable. I was so happy to find that Amazon carries it! It came in 2 days. Popped the seat off and had this installed within 30 seconds. So easy. I am super grateful that somebody made this cable. It is money well spent. If you're reading this you already know you need it. Go ahead and get it!

I own a 2011 Ducati monster 696. The Bike is all analog no abs no traction control and fully air cooled so when I bought it I put on a pig tail as it had no usb charger. After 5 years of owning the bike I found this attachment which essentially enables you to not need a direct battery pig tail for a USB adapter. This fits perfectly under the seat and is a game changer in my opinion. Everyone who has a ducati from 2009-2015 so consider getting this in my opinion.

Worked great on Ducati Monster

Is a good method for charge your bike with a easy access. Working perfect in my Panigale 959 (MY2019) and Ducati Scrambler 800 (MY2016).

Perfect when combined with my OptiMate 4DUAL 0.8Amp Weatherproof Desulfating Charger/Maintainer. Buying both of these was a fraction of the cost of Ducati's version (which doesn't even have the features of the OptiMate (Desulfating, etc.) AFAIK.So far it works well with my '15 Ducati Diavel. I just take off the seat and plug it right in. When done, I leave the wire on under the seat and just disconnect the main cable.Easy way to keep the battery healthy in New England winters when your wife does not let you put your Ducati in the living room (infidel!!!). =o)

Product came today looks good no problems there. Unfortunately is not the right connector for the Desert X. If I find one Ill let you know but its not this one. Nice quality on this though.

Generally works as intended. I am using it to run a gerbings heated jacket liner on a Ducati Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak.The two things that I would prefer to see:1 it is a bit short. Another 6 inches would give a lot more options on how to use it2 the accessory side plug is quite large and would be better of it were smaller. My old cord that I made for my previous bike using standard trailer wire sae connector was significantly less bulky against my body and the bike
