Pacific CoastX-KD's Unisex-Adult Biker sunglasses Blue/Amber One Size

KD's have been my go-to brand of sunglasses since my Uncle Grog, VNVMC, gave me a pair when I was 10 at one of his biker rallies. Since they are made smaller than most glasses so that they fit while wearing a helmet they also fit smaller heads. The great part? They also fit medium, large and EXTRA large heads!When this style came out and bought them right away as I loved the look online...when they arrived and I put them on I fell in love. Comfort has never been an issue with KD's. They're the most comfortable glasses I've ever owned. I own 5-6 different lenses including the clear. What makes these so great is even when the sun goes down you can leave them on, they're just the right amount of color so you can see whether it's day or night. Now, I would NOT suggest riding your Hog or driving a car wearing these at night as you want to have as clear of vision as possible. For night driving I wear the KD's yellow, they make oncoming traffic a breeze. These are called Blue/Amber. I still don't understand why the word "Blue" is in the name as I don't see any blue. What you get is a beautiful amber color that makes looking at life a little nicer. Also, the ladies LOVE a man in KD's, they make everyone (including you ladies) look better. They figured out the frame way back in the day and were smart enough not to mess with perfection. DO NOT buy the cheap knockoffs that you find at fleamarkets as they are cheaply made and offer no UV protection as these do. When my local mall opened a "top-shelf" sunglass store I went in to look around and compare. The salesman tried to sell me a $600 pair of Amber glasses by a big-name company and I handed him mine and had him try them on...he liked my KD's so much I gave them to him as I had a spare set in the car anyway. That's another great thing about KD's, they are top-shelf quality with pocket-change prices. I mean, $15.00 for the best glasses you'll ever own? How can you beat it? They are NOT just for bikers! Thank you KD's for not changing a thing.(I did NOT get paid for this review nor did I receive them for free. I happily paid for them. That being said if KD wants to toss a set my way I won't complain, lol)

This is my 3rd pair of X KDs, I like the price, feel, and shape of these sunglasses and that's why I have 3 or them.This pair is different from my previous glasses. They are very stiff and the plastic seems different. They feel like a slightly cheaper pair of glasses than my past pairs. I usually put a few small bends in my X KDs so they fit just right for me, this pair is very stiff and feels like they could snap if too much pressure is applied. I don't know if they have changed their plastic or I just received a pair from an odd lot. The amber lenses are great and very clear.Pros:Shape, style, look of X KDs.Size, the extra size of the X KDs makes the fit and feel better.Amber lenses are very clear.Cons:Felt cheap compared to past X KDs.Very stiff.I will continue to purchase X KDs when needed. I like my other ones so much, I would be willing to over look this pair and give them another chance.

They are pretty comfortable and polarized. There is some wind buffering at highway speeds, even behind a windshield.I've worn these not even a half dozen times. Pulled them out of their storage bag and the lenses and one arm are in my hand, the other arm falls on the ground. The screw holding that arm just fell out. I saw others have the same issue. Starting the return process now.It is a shame that a manufacturer can't build a product that stays together more than a few hours. Originally I had planned on buying more KD's with the other lens colors, but im going to pass on that.

Best sunglasses ever for the price. I have real light-sensitive eyes and these things are a life saver when you need to cut the glare without making things dark.

Not even close to the same quality as they used to be when they were only 1.99 in Easyrider mags.
