We picked up a pair of these chutes for our 10u youth baseball travel team and while they show an adult male running with the chute on in the product photo, I'd say that these are really geared more for youth players. I put one on myself and as an adult, I didn't feel much resistance, but the players certainly did. I'd also recommend running into the wind. They are very efficient in that direction. Less efficient with the wind at your back. Once you've used it a few times and figure it out a little bit, it is quite useful. The quality seems good and the whole team has used them at multiple practices now without issue. Seems like a great training aid so far.

We found that the 56″ diameter of the parachute can provide 25-35 lbs of resistance and is pretty durable while running but can be easily torn, snagged or ripped if caught onto something. Parachute is functional and provides drag for runners while running. The straps fit a variety of sizes but seem larger for middle school kids. Some of them can not attach the Velcro because it is to large for them. The parachute seems to hold up well, but the straps that attach to the parachute have come apart and needed to be stitched back together. Good product for the price.

I purchased this for my son because he wanted to improve his running time. We both were unsure of this product and if it would serve the purpose. As soon as I received it, my son immediately wanted to try it out. He loved it and uses it almost everyday. It has definitely improved his time and what is surprising is that it didn’t take long to see the results. In my opinion, his results improved quickly because he was using it almost everyday. My guess is that if you only use it once in a while, you might not get the results you’re looking for with this product. If your intent is to improve your running time, then use this product but use it frequently because it definitely works.

Top rim is too thick to look like a normal vase. Like the vase concept, and it does work as a touch lamp. Lights up much whiter than their picture indicates... not a yellow glow at all. Comes with a charging cord, not sure yet how long power lasts between charging sessions.
