Great grip tape, but not totally clear
Great tape, and grips well. The glue is strong and it sticks well on the deck. This would have been five stars with the exception that it is not really clear. It's more like heavily frosted. It works fine for a deck with a bright color that you don't need to show detail on, but it wouldn't be clear enough to see any real artwork through.

Insanely grippy! Make sure to wear gloves when installing!
A LOT grippier than I thought. I figured it would be like the grip tape I see on typical longboards, that are almost like a bit of chunky salt on the board.Nope, this is like the tape was dipped in a barrel of sugar. It's rough on the hands to touch, like before you drop your board to start off riding. My thumb wouldn't work for the thumb-reader on my iPhone until it healed a few days later. Going to scrap the deck I put this on and try again.

It does what it's supposed to!
My company, in order to generate money for charity, started selling Skateboard decks. I bought one with the intent to build it up and gift or sell it. The top of the deck, where the tape would go, is blue and I wanted a grip tape that would show it. Unfortunately, this tape is more frosted than clear and it looks that way.In any event, the grip part of the tape is extremely rough, as it should be, so much so that I got a few scraps installing it to the board.

I use it for traction on my quilting rulers and it works well. A note of caution - it will scratch the other rulers and could potentially scratch furniture, etc.For quilting rulers, consider wrapping them in cloth, bubble wrap, anything...

Big logo
The grip tape has a big DreamFire logo that doesn't show in the product page. Bad but not big problem. The too tight rolling package broke the wax paper causing problems to apply it to the board. Bad and big problem. The grip tape not so aggressive like other (Black Diamond). Good or bad?

Bubbles
Purchased this to apply it to a retro 80s vision psycho stick. It was the perfect width and had about an extra foot in length. Easy to apply. Has multiple small air bubbles which I expected. Probably user error but I also think it's almost impossible to apply the tape without getting some bubbling. They are more noticible with clear grip tape.

Clear grip tape
Arrived tightly rolled and without creases. The adhesives is strong. I didn't get it straight my first two attempts but it was very forgiving so I pulled the bit that I had attached off and recentered it. I started veering off the strike on the board while trying to cut it but I think that it was more because it was my first time gripping a board. I was able to go back and clean it up decently. This post is with regard to the clear grip tape. I am able to see the design underneath the tape pretty well. With some work it applies without air bubbles. If it is your first time and you have the option of being able to have somebody do it with you then I would definitely go for that. It was difficult to hold it up with one hand and pay it down with the other due to the nature of the clear being very unforgiving with air bubbles so it is important that it is done really well. Overall 5 stars for this product; how well it looks on the board is up to the person applying it.Wear Gloves!!! My hands are all ripped up and it isn't a fun sensation.
