REALFORCE R2 PFU Limited Edition (Black/45g/Full) - Topre Silent Key Switches, Full-NKRO, Professional keyboard

The keyboard is great! It's pricey, but it's a hobbyist item made with premium materials. Where else can you experience the Topre switches? Check the Chyrosran22 review on youtube to understand how it sounds and feels.Also, it's great that it's the full 104 key (108, actually) layout. The weight is perfect, the key and body material has great texture, and doesn't stain from fingers. The variable actuation point is a very convenient feature that allows to adapt to the current application.The bad parts are — the Realforce application on Mac just doesn't detect the keyboard. There's no mute function on the multimedia keys. That's probably all I can think of.If you're looking at this keyboard in 2023, you would probably want to consider the next version — Realforce R3

Let's be honest.The fact that you are reading this comment means that you are not searching for an average, plastic keyboard.If your criteria to buy your new laptop are:- silent mechanical keyboard- premium quality with ergonomic design (it's made in Japan after all)- classy feeling and lookand in top of that you have the budget to buy it, then search no more...If you are thinking whether to buy a such expensive keyboard is really worth, I will say that IT DOES worth IF YOU ARE TYPING for living. So you are a Developer, a Pro typer or something similar.Finally, I would like to note that THERE is a defect in the keyboard and I'm not the only one who reported that. The left side of the keyboard is 2mm higher than the table's base. This can be simply fixed with a piece of paper under the keyboard... Despite that, I cannot give less than 5 stars for this product. If I could rate from 0-100 though, I would give 95/100 because of this defect.

If you want to type with the most buttery keycaps of all time, Buy this or other Topre Keyboards.

Feels solid, keycaps are nice but hard to see the legends in bad lighting (not a problem for a typist).Comfortable to type and silent. Lock keys have leds in different colors.Cons:It has no detachable usb cable.My keyboard was slightly warped and I had to gently twist it to make it stand solid on my desk.

This is the best keyboard ever made. It’s my second Topre based board and the silent 45g switches are simply bliss. If you’re at a computer all day, it’s well worth the price.
