Very comfortable!
The odor of off-gassing is strong and takes a while (in my case over a week) to clear. Other than that its perfect, very comfortable. It comes vacuum packed but it does fluff up to its stated size over time. I'm happy with it. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the odor. However, since this is the second one I purchased (I have a full size one on a futon frame), the positive quality characteristics (comfort - I'm getting good sleep on this futon!, look and price) outweigh the initial odor experience.

bulky, filled with layers felt
waited for this item to get back in stock.(was the recommended for the futon frame). This is a big lumpy mattress that takes some work to fold into a sitting position on the futon frame. My husband and son had to work it into the fold. I noticed it was "lumpy" on the side with one side "loose". I opened the zipper and it was layers of a felt like material inside. The layers were not stacked nicely and some were hanging over giving the mattress an lumpy/unevenness on the ends, so when the futon was in the couch position it looks uneven. This was not a $100. mattress, for the money I expected better. The cover color was nice, but the tied areas were an off color like cheap twine type material.Wish I could have sent it back. It is not what was described. My son slept on it, stated it was ok, but am concerned over how long it will last.

DON'T DO IT!!!!
This is the most uncomfortable mattress. I left it set for 4 days after opening and the feet nor head filled out. Its like sleeping on an off ramp if you can imagine that. Save your money or spend a little more. Either way this mattress SUCKS!!!

No too happy with this purchase
I purchased the burgundy Queen size and while it is very comfortable to lay on, however,I am disappointed that it is too thick to work as a sofa, which I needed. Also I expected it to be cotton twill material but it is more of a polyester type material which makes it look cheap.Would love to know if anyone has any suggestions on making it bend.

Bad smell
This futon mattress took about a month to receive. The color was true to the photos. Almost toxic smell that after a week is still present. Came wrapped in plastic. Not sure if I should wait longer or return.

Do not bother with this mattress!
Mattress was not made right like they did not give a damn! Measurement is not what it is supposed to be and has the very best of cheap material inside. One end of the mattress is just about flat and looks just horrible.

Great quality and suits all needs at this time
Bought this for my son (6’2”) who has a small room but needs a large bed. It arrived quickly and suits all of his needs, he wanted to have a futon to save space during the day and have a couch to lounge, game and relax and not feel so cramped in his small room.

Not a 12 inch futon
The futon is comfortable but it is not 12 inches thick. I have had it for about a week now and it is only at about 6 inches deep at the thickest part around the edges.
