First time purchasing shapewear and it was for compression after surgery. The cami is well made, thicker than I anticipated and does have compression and smooths the area. If you are buying it for that purpose you should be fine. The compression isn’t too much but just enough to keep things together as the wound area heals. When putting this on follow the instructions “Feet First” and you will be ok. If you try putting it over your head it will be a work out for you and you are going to get frustrated. Did not have an issue with it rolling up but I could see if you have FUPA or an apron belly it may do that. Just pull your underwear over it and you should be fine. To me these run long but I'm 5'1 so everything does. Would I buy again, probably not but still giving it a five star for quality and price and does what it supposed to BUT for me I prefer a softer cami that is a size smaller and more comfortable than shapewear.

After seeing countless ads for Shapermint camis and purchasing (and returning) fake ones that didn’t do anything, I broke down and bought a black cami. Yes, it does give you a more flattering tummy area, but my boobs disappeared altogether. I am mashed so much that it’s hard to tell I even have boobs! Also, the torso is pretty darn long, and it covers some of my rear end, too. It doesn’t mash that terribly much, but it simply feels weird. It did not make it easier to pull on jeans or capris as shown in the ads - my size is my size, period. The cami just makes everything look a bit smoother. It is well-made; not extremely comfortable, but not agonizing; I can sure tell I am wearing it. I’m just not used to using a cami underneath, so I suppose it will take some getting used to.

This wasn't quite what I was hoping for. Just as a reference, I am 5'5" 120lb, 34 B or C, 65yo, mostly fit.It did feel really nice and the fabric is very soft and for as tight as it fit it didn't hurt my stomach (my tummy is sensitive especially with tight fitting items) as some do but I did not like the fit around the upper chest area (between my underarm and boobs, see picture) - I felt the cut was too curved in and it just didn't look right.I was buying this for tummy control to wear under a dress and besides the cut, there were a few other things I did not care for:1. When it was on and I put my arms down, there was definitely extra skin popping up and out from the sides of the top I don't normally see (if you look at the photos of the product arms are up or down and shoulders back).2. Where'd my boobs go!? For me, I felt it hid my boobs, no real noticeable curve from the side view (and what I have left I want to show).3. Ugh. When I walked, it made my underwear rise and I hate that.I did buy this in a M and L (because you just don't know what to expect when buying clothes online for the first time) and unfortunately - neither worked for me and I'm returning them.

These tops are nice, but they are very see thru and I cannot wear them without a bra, like the commercial says. They do hold me in somewhat and they are comfortable to wear. I may try a different color to see they are see through as well.Update:06/17/25: I was contacted by Shapermint to see if they could do anything to make this a better experience, and I told them, that it was fine and that I was planning on buying a black one to see if it was see through and if it fit well. They said they would send me one. I was shocked! They just arrived today! I am very happy with the black ones. Thank you!!

5 stars for the way this cami accentuates the good and smoothes the less good. BUT be careful when referring to the size charts on Amazon. According to them, I should have ordered a 4X but it was so loose that it was more of a glorified undershirt. When I went to the Shapermint website and put in my dress size, I was immediately suggested to get a 3X - which was the correct size. The size charts attached to the cami seems to reflect the correct measurements too. I've included an image of the size charts according to the tag.

I love this camisole . It does smooth well but could use a bit more spandex. The color is perfect and it doesn’t “ride up”- yeh! The length is good for me under a dress or skirt as I am very petite. It isn’t as good as my “Spanx” brand but it does come in navy , which I have not been able to find, at a reasonable price, elsewhere.

So far I love my body shaper. I wore it one whole day while trying on Mother's of the Bride dresses and it never movied out of place or rolled up, like all the others I have tried. And it was so comfortable I nearly forgot I had it one. Now I want to try a pair of the high waisted shorts. I am exactly. Thank you..
