Quick Screw 5" 50 Pack Premium Hidden Rain Gutter Bracket Hook Hangers with screw clip style

We had some strong winds here in CT a couple of weeks ago. The wind was strong enough that one of the gutters were ripped off and was dangling precariously by just one gutter nail.Although winter has been mild so far in the Northeast, there is forecast for some snow and rain the in the next few days. I wanted to make sure the gutter was fixed up before that happened. I received the product a few days after ordering (not the usual Prime speed but in these days with Covid-19, it was absolutely understandable.Note that the gutter in question was secured originally by gutter nails (not screws). Securing and installing the brackets was extremely easy. Note that you need to take a pause and make sure you have brackets installed on to the gutters (not screwed in but just installed on to the gutter) before you start driving these home. Once installed it is going to be a pain to install another bracket as the gutter would not flex. Besides that they installed as expected and they seem sturdy. Only time will tell if the longevity is there but so far so good. Much better than the gutter nails for sure. If you have just a few nails that have come out, you can also try removing the nails that are loose and replacing them with Lag screws. As always stay safe on the ladder and always use a spotter. Take your time and do not rush.

I recently installed aluminum gutters and was hesitant to try these because they are so much less expensive than what I could find in the local stores. For the first section I used the Amerimax brand hangers at over $2 each so I was able to compare the two. These installed exactly the same way at less than half the cost. The hangers and hardware is the majority of cost to install gutters so these made a big difference in my cost. If you are installing gutters hidden hangers are the way to go regardless of what type you buy. You can place them on the gutter with the proper spacing and then when you lift the gutter to install it, it's just a matter of driving each screw home. It makes hanging gutters faster, more secure, and easier than any other type of hanger.

Id say they are much more sturdy than the ones found at Lowes for a quarter of the price. May have to bend the screw plate slightly to pop on easier but nothing that will affect the performance.

Great product and well priced at the time of purchase

The media could not be loaded. As an engineer and contractor I'm pretty particular but decided to give these a try based on price even after reading another review indicating these did not fit the gutter.I did find that a minor adjustment needed to be made to get these to work for me. I slightly bent the tab that slides down over the back / flat part of the gutter using a flat head screw driver (see the attached video). The hanger needed to be gently tapped down into place since the tab that slips into the molded front portion of the gutter is a tight fit.I like the TIGHT FIT and the STURDY construction of the gutter hanger. There is plenty of screw travel to get some bite into your roof rafters if placed properly.You will need a 1/4 inch hex (nut driver) bit to perform installation - this is not included with this product.
