Very happy with the hinges. They work perfectly for what i needed. But 1 hinge out of 4 didn't work correctly, and the pen broke after 1 week. I need a pen to replace the broken one ..

One of the springs broke. Good stainless steel. Fast delivery. Easy to install.

Like the ability to swing both ways. Even the dog learned how to go through the gates.

One of the hinges broke within a month of use. But the up side is the company sent me a full replacement. The hinges do work well though and I didn't have any problems installing them.

I used these for making dog gates to keep our golden retriever out of parts of the house where he shouldn't be but make it easy for humans to pass through. They work great, just like old fashion saloon gates in the westerns. Easy to walk through but our animals stay out of our bedrooms & bathrooms. It takes a little knowledge about how to install them but there are good YouTube videos on how to do this.

the hinges don't lay flat against the door jamb and require excessive notching (or a spacer block between the jamb and jamb plate, which looks stupid) that looks like poor design and craftsmanship, even if you use a jig and router. while it is easy to figure out how to adjust the spring tension without any instructions, the pin set holes are not milled accurately at all and will require some hand filing off the jamb after you determine the tension you like and choose which holes you want to use. Don't waste your time trying to use a second pin to align the holes, because they are simply not milled by the manufacturer well enough for the provided set pins to fit. These are smaller in size and half the price of the ones available at the big box stores, but the saying is true, you get what you pay for. Although as a master craftsman, I posses the skills to make these hinges work, I would not purchase these again. It is worth the extra money to save time by not having to modify every hinge and the installation hurdles. Time is money too

These work great and are priced well! They aren't light (but wasn't looking for that) but seem quite robust. Very happy
