Love that I can buy this on amazon. Very hard to get down south.Similar to Worcestershire sauce but let acrid and more tomatoeyIt's also vegan so good to have incase of vegans guests and adds umami!Great on Tom's or mushrooms for breakfast.And if you get Gousto recipes and want to recreate them, they often use Henderson.

This book, apart from being a good read with beautiful photographs, has recipes from all over the world, not just good old Northern favourites. It also has a section devoted to vegan dishes although these could be adapted to include merat and many of the meat dishes in the main part of the book could be adapted to vegetarian or vegan with a little bit of imagination. In addition, I certainly wasn't expecting a normal sized, hardback quality book for a fiver (rrp is marked at £20). It's a great buy. Highly recommended.

I have the first book but this is even better with more traditional recipes. Great value- and this is from a dyed in the wool Mankie-some of the best basic recipes out there. Not sure bout the Y puds though- look a bit like Aunt Bessies and not the real plate fillers! Wonderful - every home should have this!

Absolutely love this book. Full of lots of gorgeous tasty recipes, all celebrate the wonderful Hendersons Relish that is a Sheffield favourite.

Enjoyed this recipe book; some variations on classics well worth trying. Best of all so far is the slow cooker beef brisket recipe which resulted in far and away the best brisket I've ever eaten.

I have spent over 40 years trying to make bangers and mash taste like my grandad made us as kids! Finally found the secret ingredient and now it goes in or on everything! Delicious 😋
