I'm an extreme (home office) worker and I need the right gear to keep up my performance.I'm weird - in many ways. One of my oddities is my need for elbow pads when I work at my desk. I'm an elbow-rester and a forearm-rester (both when not typing). I even need a half-glove on my right hand for mousing (my vertical mouse is great, but it causes excessive rubbing on the heel bone of my hand). I'm at my desk 12 or more hours a day, so certain parts get abused. In the last couple of years, I've been experimenting with various pads: some worn, some placed on the desk. The ones placed on the desk are too annoying - I was constantly moving them out of position, and they were usually more in the way than anything else. Worn ones are great, but they are either usually too thin or too small of a surface area. Oh, and my desk has extremely sharp edges, and I find that my elbows REALLY want to rest right on that edge. Also, when I'm not resting my elbows on these sharp edges, I find myself resting my forearms (especially my non-dominant) on them. So I was in the market for a much longer elbow pad or something for my forearm.When I saw these, the first thing I thought was that I was sure I would end up with the edge of the desk constantly finding the gap between the elbow pad and the forearm pad. Well, it doesn't! The elbow pad is thick, sturdy, and long enough to keep me from finding that sharp edge.Another oddity of mine, in the hot and humid months, I wear a light shirt sleeve buttoned at the wrist to keep my arm from sweating all over the desk - gross, I know! So, here I am, sitting here with an elbow pad on my left arm, and a shirt sleeve and elbow pad on my right arm, and a half-glove on my right wrist. It's quite a site to see.But not any more! These sleeves are just what I was looking for! Good padding at my elbows and forearms. Easy enough to pull on (a little faster than my much smaller ones, actually). The fit is firm but not too tight. I took the advice of other reviewers here and bought a size bigger than I probably needed (I have small arms, but I ordered Large). One thing, though. The nylon isn't very breathable. It isn't hot and humid out anymore, but I can feel my arms retaining warmth still. I hoped this isn't going to be a problem next summer. I'll try to remember to update then.

I was not expecting these to be very good but wanted to try them for the low cost. I am a mountain biker and hate wearing typical pads. I bought these for the sun protection and light padding. I rode about 80 miles with them and was pleasantly surprised. They are comfortable and you forget you have them on. They offer great sun protection and warmth. I banged my shin with the pedal and the pad protected me. At first I thought they would be too loose but they stayed on and stayed in place the entire rides. It seems that a little sweat helps them stay put. Very light and you could put them in a pack if you can fit the bulk. I will be careful to hand wash. These are a great MTB purchase!

Purchase for my 15 year old son for football. I purchased a large to x large and they almost cut off the circulation. They are tight so maybe they run small. Or maybe they are supposed to fit that way. My son is 6 ft 1 and about 170 pounds.

These are awesome! I have bought other brands that costed a little less, but you can 100% tell the difference in the quality of the materials used. Definitely worth spending a couple extra bucks for a better product! Buying them again in black color. Highly recommend.

They look to be made well for the price. The fit is much too small though. You may need 1 size larger than the size chart states. They also need to use spell-check for their packaging. They are "Pefect For Most Activities." My 10 year old spotted that right away.

I use these elbow sleeves every time I play goalie. My elbows were getting abused every time I dove for the ball on the artificial tuff. These sleeves provide added protection, so I am not beat up after every game.

My volleyball daughter loves these. They have held up well to all her sliding and diving.
