There are some good tips in here which are universal, but the book itself is very India centric and not particularly helpful for the UK market. Overall, the information contained within seems to be correct and I'm sure it will be helpful to an Indian tourism student.

The book is made voluminous by repeating the same information over and over. There is very little information of how to set up a travel agency. There is no in-depth information about different types of transportation system like different types of aeroplanes, trains, buses, taxis and ships in India. There is no information about different types of hotels/ guest houses/ inns etc.
