Little smaller than I'd like, easy to assemble, looks beautiful too

Lots of fun optimizing final build of a fairly simple few parts snap it. Details are sufficient to spending the time at fitting each part perfectly. Decals are very challenging small and numerous but end results are unbelievable. So much more satisfying than buying one already preprinted and at more than twice the price. Looking forward to making more of these 1:2500 kits from Polar

Very nice model good accuracy, easy to assemble nice excellent decals. Fully assembled though this thing is tiny! entire model fits in the palm of your hand. Reminds me of those kits with three mini models. Not what I expected considering the size of the box and the $34 price.

As with all Polar Lights kits, the detail is very nice. The decals require some patience and an investment in a decal setting solution. Some parts are very thin, small, and fragile, so take your time and you will end up with a nicely detailed finished model. The scale is 1/2500 but can be lit with some skill. Hopefully, Polar Lights will market a 1/1000 scale one day with a lighting kit.

The wallpaper style decals made the finish look like an airbrushed model. I was very pleased with the results. The model is smaller than expected from the size of the box. For a snap together the quality of injection molded parts is much better than expected. The inside box is an awkward place for the decal placement instructions. So I cut the box apart and made a color copy of the decal placement instructions. It might be worth your time to view videos on paint suggestions for the Shenzhou and how to apply decals with Microsol. I might get the Discovery just because it is supposed to have the wallpaper style decals too.

I'm still working on it,coming along just fine. Extensive decal work, definately need "decal set". (decals pictured on box, do not belong to this model, pictured decals belong to U.S.S. Discovery). Very nice model, will be done in a couple days, probably...

model is to small, pieces don't stay in place and break very easy.worst model kit i ever had

La nave es bonita, pero:1. Es pequeña, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta el precio.2. Pocas piezas, delicadas y muchas necesitan retoques para encajar correctamente.3. Las piezas transparentes se han de pintar para darles el color correcto.4. Intentan salvar las limitaciones con las calcomanías, pero algunas son demasiado grandes, otras están en zonas llenas de molduras y cuesta mucho adaptarlas, otras tan minúsculas que apenas se ven...En fin, igual me he malacostumbrado con otras marcas que ofrecen productos mejor diseñados y de más calidad. He tenido la sensación de montar una maqueta como las que compraba en los 70-80, que muchas veces requerían una gran cantidad de ajustes.Así que no es recomendable para personas que no tengan un nivel alto en el montaje de maquetas.

Es ist ein kleines, jedoch hübsches kleines Modell mit sehr viel Details.
