When I was a kid, I was introduced to something like "Penny Brite" to shine up the copper pots and pans belonging to my mom. Then, we lost track of this product over the years. It's great to see it back and at full strength. My neglected copperware was instantly restored to "brand new" condition with this great product. Just wipe it on, rub in circles for a few minutes, and the gentle acid in the product will remove YEARS of wear on your stainless steel and your copper pieces. The best part, it's gentle on your hands and skin and, unlike other metal polishing products, this one smells citrus-y (is that even a word??).I figured this stuff worked so well on my pots that I'd try it on some of my copper jewelry too. Voila!! Perfectly shiny copper jewelry in just minutes. Since my hobby is also making jewelry from copper and metals, I found that I could use Penny Brite on my soldered/brazed pieces too. That nasty cupric oxide, also known as "fire scale" and surface discoloration resulting from applying a torch to copper is quickly and easily removed using Penny Brite and an old toothbrush. It's so quick and easy--who needs pickle??So many uses for this great product that I bought five (5) (yep, that's right) more containers for use in my jewelry studio and in my kitchen! Love it!!
