Great trimmer for solo use.
Had 6 months now. Great product for leaving a bit of stubble hair instead of complete bald shave. Keeps charge long also and easy to use and clean. Highly recommend.

Remember to charge it for 3 hours before use!
Prior to this trimmer I was using a beard trimmer to keep my crew cut hair to a 0.5 or 1 with no comb attachment and the battery was practically dead after one use so I needed an upgrade. You must remember to charge the trimmer for 3 hours minimum before use to calibrate and maximise the battery. My first impressions was thats its pretty heavy for such a small device but thats mostly attributed to the large internal battery. Following my first session of usage I got the best results by moving the trimmer left to right rather than back and forth which was most comfortable for me (perhaps due to the shape of my head and the angle of the blades. If you don't use a comb and want the closest possible cut then you might find the trimmer teeth are a bit too sharp so you have to be careful and go slowly. I did have to revert back to my old trimmer to finish off around the ears and next shoulders but that's fine. The trimmer head was easy to pop off and back on to clean hairs and blades. End results were pretty good and I'm sure it'll get easier and faster as I use it more. The kit comes with a handy bag to store everything.

Easy to use. Excellent results. Better than standard clippers for a short cut.
I have used regular hair clippers for decades in order to keep my hair trimmed short. With the bald spot growing ever larger the cut has been getting ever closer. But clippers take an age if you're doing it DIY and you can't really be sure of success without two mirrors and lots of repeat passes over and over in every direction. So I thought I'd give this product a try (limited time deal made it extra tempting). I'm delighted with the results on my first trial. I used the shortest comb attachment and it removed just a little fuzz all over. Much better coverage than clippers and a much more reliable outcome. Mirror check scored a perfect 10/10. I was considering the Remington Stick Cut Pro, but I'll be sticking with this Babyliss Crewcut model. It's spot on for the job required.

Easy to use, gives a good neat cut. Recommended
I tried the first version if this (the round one) years ago. It was awful and I sent it back. I’ve always gone to the same barbers and until about a year ago varied between a number 2 and 3. Then, on a whim, I grew up. Took a while to get it the way I wanted it, but I was happy. Now in lockdown, my hair was driving me crazy. I looked around to see what was out there and saw this. It’s very different to the normal hair trimmer (which I have for keeping my beard neat) which I never felt confident to use by myself, so I took the plunge. Wow! So easy. So neat and tidy. It gives me a cut every bit as good as I got from my barbers when he used to do me a number cut. Sad to see my longer hair go, but so very pleased with my new haircut. It’s simple to use. Make sure you give it a 3 hour charge before you begin, then simply select the cutting guide (I went for a no.3) and snap it in place and simply run it through your hair. It follows the contour of my head really well and I like you can cut backwards and forwards. Once that was done, I switched over to the ear trimmer ( which is graduated) and ran that back and forth and then around the back of my neck. I had the whole thing done in next to no time and my wife says its as good as I got from the barbers shop. The first version was complete rubbish and I’m not sure what the versions that followed were like, but I really can’t fault this.

2.5 year lifespan - cheaper than the barbers.
One of the only head trimmers I found that can cut slightly off the skin. It is easy to use. I found that over time, the guards started popping off mid shave which could lead to an unfortunate outcome. Would be great to have an additional guard, grade 0.5 to bridge the gap between the smallest sizes. Broken after 2.5 years, just outside of warranty. Useful overall but keen to find a more durable alternative.

Best clippers I've had in a very long time.
I use it a few times a week and still only charged it a few times in the year I've had it. So the battery does last. It is easy to use. Come with several different attachments including one for around your ears. Why it is losing a star: The ear attachment is only one size and fits not cut my hair short enough. I have to remove the attachment and go around my ears, which is easier said than done as I have to do it without my glasses so I never know how well I've done until it's too late.
