Bought two of these one for my American quarter horse gelding and the other for my Appaloosa mare. The mask was a bit too small for my gelding but fit my mare so well I kept both. Mask banding is a chocolate brown. The banding is thick and padded for comfort. It has caused a small rub on my mares brow but adjusting the hook and loop closure has reduced the rub. The hook and loop closure is secure so pasture mates cannot pull the mask off. The closure is short, would better if it were an inch or two longer. Mesh is a nice tight weave to block the sun and bugs. soak or soft brush. Overall good quality and would recommend and will buy again.

This fly mask is a much better quality than the Super Mask II. The mesh is thicker and the fit is better. The SM II are always too big. This one fits great. It's standing up great to the wear and tear of a pastured horse. And the price is a lot better than the SM II. I will definitely be ordering this again.

First off, order a size up!! If you think it’s going to fit your horse, it’s not. Order the next size up, no question about it, you can thank me later! The full horse size is perfect for a large welsh pony with a small head that’s weighs 800lbs. It would not velcro around my 1,000lb refined 15.3 hand mare. That is between a cob and horse size in every other fly mask, halter and bridle.Besides that, this is a great fly mask. The mesh is nice smooth, thick and durable, but also breathable and doesn’t make their faces sweaty even in the Texas heat. Very easy to clean off and I love the brown/beige color. It looks super classy! It stays on very well and has not taken any damage or shows any signs of wear after 2 months of daily use.Minus 1 star because the size is very deceiving and I had to order another one since it was so small. Maybe that’s their sales strategy though. (Harhar)

I bought this mask for my stallion. He's the destroyer of fly masks, and what is awesome about this particular design, he can snag it, but it doesn't rip or leave a gaping hole. I would say this mask is highly durable, the velcro is strong enough to hold securely, and the fit is AWESOME if your horse has a baby doll show head. My stallion does have a small baby doll head so I am pleased with the fit. I will add that this mask probably will not fit an average sized head so consider this mask a cob or Arab size if that helps in purchasing. Anyhow, I am very happy with the quality and bought more of these since the price is very fair. CHEERS!!

Got this for my senior donkey and it fits him perfectly. I love the quality of this brand!

Reason this is best ever fly mask is it allows air in between the ears. Notice how there is space in between the ears. This mask goes around each ear allowing the skin to breathe. The softness around the cheeks is terrific no more rubbing the skin. It is does not cover the entire length of the nose but my horses like this. I have to put sun block on one mare's skin and this makes it easier to address. Best ever fly mask for my horses! Note one size just alittle bit larger would be great.

Says it fits horses 900 to 1200 lbs. We have 3 Quarter Horses all around 1000 lbs . Doesn't fit properly ,too small.

Very well made but too small for my quarter horses. Better suited to Arabian or cob sized horses.

it's not a full horse size as advertised. I should have read the small print; so my fault. I don't know many "horses" who are 900 pounds. Should indicate cob. I'd like to return it I don't have the option on Amazon.

My horse doe not have a large head and this flymask barely fit her. I would not purchase it again.
