Good look and feel, but brush sheds excessively.
Pros: Great weight, feel, and look. It is very stable on the counter-top. The brush makes a great lather and feels good on the skin.Cons: the brush sheds like crazy. I have owned this for three months and it has shedded hairs every single shave--I would say after this much time the break-in period is long over.Overall: Looks good, but the brush seems to be low quality relative to other badger hair brushes. I own a TAOS travel kit and that brush, badger hair as well, doesn't shed at all. I recommend this kit with hesitation, and that only at its sale price ($40).

Solid, but razor holder tip loosens easily.
Solid design, except for the threading on the razor holder itself. The tip of the razor holder has a tendency to loosen while shaving, and will not stay tightened. I used red loctite to secure the threads, which was effective.

miss-colors
The bottom of the stand miss-colored my sink. I had mine on our new marble sink and I got a nice brown ring on it, something not rust-free under the rubber fot?

Hooked on using a brush and this is easy way to store and display
Listing picture should be changed to view with blade removed for accuracy and honesty in advertising. Brush is shedding a little while expensive alternative that I also own is not at all.

Not As Ordered
Unfortunately, the item was not as described in either the picture, or written description. I asked for an exchange and was sent not the textured razor, or a different one, but the same smooth oversized chrome set. It is not bad, but I preferer the texture for a razor. The seller refunded the cost, and didn't even ask to ship it back, but I still don't have the textured razor I wanted.

Quality Product
I received the 3 piece textured Mach 3 all metal heavyweight handle, badger brush and stand today. I'm impressed with the apparent quality of the product. The 3 pieces have good weight. There is a soft pad on the bottom of the stand so that the stand will sit nicely on any surface. The 3 chrome pieces look great! The brush and handle hang nicely from the stand, with NO wobble. Time will tell if my first impression holds true, but it's clear that time was spent engineering this product.
