We ended up ordering the 4L and 8L pots as well. 4L was great for backpacking trip as it was light and easy to put in pack. Both pots used on our Coleman stove on a recent fishing trip. Company great to work with. Be sure to keep plastic hosing on the bail handles!

The AceCamp Camping Cooking Pot Aluminum Tribal Pot (12 Liter) is great for Troop backpacking where you expect need to cook for a large group of people over the fire. It's light and that's good for backpacking but not so good if you let the water boil out. I'm sure it will melt of not watched closely. We had to use it in an emergency when several Troop members started getting hypothermia. we had to stop and make a fire and boil up some tea with gummy bears in it. (Glucose Tea to treat severe cold.) Worked perfect. 10/10

We need to replace some 10 quart Open Country pots. You can put a bear can inside those pots and then put that in your backpack. These 12 quart pots are too big to carry horizontally across the pack like the Open Country pots. They are well made, and we'll probably keep the two we bought, and order the 8 quart pots from the AceCamp web site (I wish they sold these through Amazon too).

Used multiple times so far and it has done the job well! Very durable too.

The good quality of this pot is apparent after opening the package.. Have not been able to cook with it yet, but it is in good condition! It is small enough to pack, which makes it a great option for camping.

The pots nest fairly well. They get dented easily. Mine showed up with multiple dents in the lids and a big dent in the pot. The dents are easy to hammer out. If you want nice looking pots don’t get these. If you want pots that are light, big enough for a group, nest together and you don’t care if they win a beauty pageant then buy these.
