The actual dog crate table is very nice but the description on amazon stated in the description "The cozy interior includes a super-floppable bed custom-made of high-quality foam with a removable, washable outer cover madefrom super-soft microfiber." The company has since removed that statement on the Amazon listing once we inquired about where our bed mattress was. Amazon was helpful at assisting us with this problem. Bottom line, we will still have to buy a mattress or padding for the crate but the crate fits in very nicely in our family room as a piece of furniture .

This is a "great in theory" way to crate your dog. Looks like real furniture that your dog can call home. Unfortunately, the design is too boxed in and resembles more of a coffin than a home inside a home. Plus the dimensions listed are the outside measurements; the actual crate measurements are significantly smaller... Our dog's bed didn't even fit inside! We returned the product and were happy to be given a full refund (That's why I try to always shop for actual Amazon.com purchases).

I bought this dog house for my 85lb. Golden Retriever and it looks great!It was very easy to put together. It took less than 5 minutes. There is plenty of room and it looks like a piece of furniture. I only wish that there were more slats in the side or an optional door or window on the side. My dog likes to see whats going on around him and it is taking some time for him to get uesd to it after his standard crate.

I bought one of these several years ago and it was great. Unfortunately the quality has completely left this dog house....It is now made of fiber board not wood...the brackets are plastic not brass....the latch is plastic not brass like last time...I ended up buying a new latch because the one provided broke...when l was assembling the dog house the brackets did not line up so I had to manually realign them....Overall l cannot recommend this product at all...I would have been returned it but it did match the previous one in size and color so l kept the dog house...definitely not worth the price they are charging...it is so sad to see a company choose a quick profit over something they could be proud of

I'm not much into writing reviews, but the ease of assembly for this dog house is ridiculous. Everything you need is in the box (about 6 pieces). It took me literally 5 minutes. Normally one might equate simplicity with poor quality, but this thing weighs a substantial amount. Mahogany finish is beautiful. Also has nice slats for your dog to peek out of. The only caution flag I would say is be careful when lifting--make sure you lift from the bottom, not the top, as the top may come off in the process.

I went through two knock-offs before biting the bullet and purchasing the true DenHaus. We're so glad we did. The medium in mahogany is the perfect fit for our dog and our decor. We ended up purchasing the metal grate directly from DenHaus, to avoid any chewing through the front (as it urns out, our Shiba just liked the taste of cardboard composite of the cheaper versions).Everything is very well made, very good looking and very easy to assemble+maintain. Happy with this purchase that has proven that it is made to last!

The dog crate is beautiful, but it is packaged poorly. The wood sides are connected together using plastic pieces that are drilled into the wood. These plastic pieces stick out and consistently break during shipping. I had to return the item twice because it arrived broken. I would love to have this product in my home, but the company does not seem to be able to get one to me that is not broken.

All comments made are correct. Easy to put together, solid wood on all side, and very heavy. I bought one of the less expensive $250 brands 9 months ago and it did not hold up for the 12lb dogs. I had this put together in around 5 minutes. It cost more but you will never have to replace it and it is as well made and finished out better than most furniture you buy.
