I have been searching for a black TEXT WEIGHT paper for some time. Finally I have found one. This is 8.5 x 11 text weight paper/printer paper. I compared it to black artist paper and it is the same. I tried stamping it with Hero Arts brand Hero Hues white (named Unicorn) pigment ink, and it stamped perfectly on the black. I’m very satisfied with this purchase even though it’s a little pricey. But I’m willing to purchase it because I’ve had such a hard time finding a satisfactory paper.

Yikes! This is seriously overpriced. So for reference colored printer paper can generally be purchased for about $15 per ream, give or take a few dollars depending on the brand. There are 500 pages per ream. FIVE HUNDRED PAGES PER REAM. This product is just colored printer paper. There is nothing special about it. It is not made of card stock. It is not textured. I paid $16 for 50 pages of colored printer paper. Now it is completely my fault for not realizing that I was buying 50 pages of lilac colored printer paper for $16. I was simply selecting the color that I wanted for a work project. I did get the color that I wanted so no complaints there. I’m just thoroughly disappointed in myself for wasting my hard earned money on such an overpriced product. I encourage you to keep looking for a 500 page ream of paper for a fair price instead of buying this.

I spent a long time searching for black paper. It took me a long time to find this paper. Everything else I looked at was either cardstock, which I didn't want, or the reviews said it wasn't truly black. This is truly black and it feels like printer paper. It's absolutely beautiful.

It was much darker than regular construction paper which in my case paired nicely with black duct tape.

I make paper roses out of this on my Cricut machine. It is pliable enough to curl the edges. Hard to find paper that is paper...not card stock...and has the color on both sides and inside....so no cut edges look white. Great selection of colors, too.

These black papers are fine for what they are. The problem I have is self generated. I was hoping to print red type on this black paper- a complete failure. I may have to go to a commercial printer to get what I need. Can't blame the paper!

I loved working with this paper. The color and thickness was excellent. My issue is with the price. I'm a paper florist and I buy a lot of paper for my designs. I feel the price for only 50 sheets was extremely high when I can get 500 sheet from another brand name for same price. I tried it I like it but wont spend that much again.

It was what I was expecting.
