Chunky Chenille Yarn, Polyester Vegan Super Jumbo Yarn Knitting Materials for Extreme Arm Knitting, Luxury Chenille Chunky Blanket Yarn (Grey, 250g)

This is a hard yarn to review. On one hand, the yarn is super soft and warm; perfect for arm knitting those braided blankets. Feel, I'd give it 5 stars. When binding skeins and tying knots, the yarn broke several times. Strength I'd give it 3 stars. Because the heart of the "string" is the anchor that the soft bits stem from, I had some difficulty pulling my cast tight; it had a tendency to catch in the wrong places. There's no give or elasticity, which is a bummer in arm knitting. And lastly...ugh...the dreaded knot in the middle of a skein...I understand this is not a sign of a poor product, however, the durability of the knot IS. I could put my whole pinky through the center of the knot, obviously meaning it wasn't nearly tight enough (probably because they knew it would break if they tightened hard enough :/). It is a lovely yarn in some respects, but falls short of the mark in others. I wouldn't buy it again, but the hiccups aren't severe enough for me to return the product.

Great quality! Should include a chart on how many feet or rolls to make a throw, double, queen size, etc. 1 roll gets you a couple rows of a blanket if your luxky.
