Hot & Slow - Best Masters Of The 70s

Excellent collection of songs from fly to the rainbow and in trance, and Virgin killer, it's an excellent CD out of print in the U.S there's Tokyo tapes that's a live album so this is studio tracks I enjoyed this CD.

With these songs from 1976 to 1978, an argument can be made that this was the greatest rock and roll band that ever existed and no one else comes close. There is an interesting, dynamic, high-level interplay between the guitar virtuosity of Uli Jon Roth and the unique and beautiful tonality of Klaus Meine's voice.

As others noted, it's missing some classics. But you can only get so much music on one cd! If you're only familiar with 80's Scorpions, this is a very good intro to the Uli Jon Roth era.

Great cd ! Some of the best songs!

Pretty much the best tracks off very early scorp albums that are sometimes hard to find but you can get a taste of the brilliant hooks and rhythmic melodies that started their superstar status. Over the years the band has progressed upon that successful formula and style that hasn't changed much from the beginning that fans have come to expect. This is a must have for any Scorpion fan.

Without a doubt, the best compilation from this great German ban. If you like the Scorpions then you should buy this one. All 70's.

You gotta have this!!!!!!!!!! This cd contains pretty much the best of the best from the Scorpions early days. It's missing a few gems, theirs no doubt about that. Tunes like He's A Woman She's A Man, Steamrock Fever and The Sails Of Charon should be on here. They were really the last tunes from the older style of music the band used to play. Ulrick was still around as well, so those added songs would have really completed this Best Of compilation. However, having said that, the tunes that are here are great songs and deserve our respect. This 70's best of is a darn good one. The packaging is no big deal with no pics or anything like that, but the sound is very good so it gets a 4 stars. Check it out!

Alle guten alten Songs der Band auf einer CD und das in guter Soundqualität! Bin begeistert! Der Versand war eine Katastrophe, die CD blieb lange bei der NL Post liegen.

This album captures the Uli Jon Roth era of Scorpions. It would've been even better if it had a song or two from Lonesome Crow and Taken By Force. But you can't have everything!
