Straight up Bad A
Man, what great strings for metal. I played with super thick 62s for drop A. Talk about a test of product. I got 13s for my bottom string. Bends as easy under that tuning as any 9 standard. These strings will not break. I doubt ever. I doubt under any load other than my full strength using both hands. Its not an exaggeration. I tuned up to B. Wrote a few songs. Strings sound on point. Never had to change em out to go up a step. Tuned up to C. Just to see what its like. Nothing wrong, tension was good tone was great (since that is what they were actually designed for is drop c not A) Thats kinda my point. They dont make a pack that says DROP B or DROP A on it. But they do got DROP C. I had to build my own custom set by choosing different packs to finally reach 62/46/36/26/17/13 My metal riffs have great low end and chug propertys , my mid range is even and the highs wont pierce your ear but give you a high twang instead. Great balance and I thrash and I scratch em with the pick and I pull hard on them before tuning to max out the slack, I counter tune the open strings with the fretted strings for a great overall balance. (You want open strings barely flat so that fretting strings are slightly sharp or in tune.) The strings hold up to all of this. On Drop A. Drop B or Drop C. I freaking love these strings. My pickups are EMG 81/85 and the guitar is an ESP 22 fret. YES I said 22 fret small ESP running DROP A. It should not be possible but yo....D'ADDDDDDDS

Long lasting tone and playability.
Best strings I’ve used in over 50 years of playing.

Best strings on the market
Some of their sizes are a little off as far as balanced tension but I use 11-49 for e flat and they are perfect. I’m very picky about strings and have tried every brand and type there is. I usually change my strings at least once a week but I get a month out of these easy. Great lows, mids and crisp highs. Don’t wait just get these. They are a little more slinky than other string brands just be aware of that. Maybe go up a size to be safe unless you like your strings a little looser but these are definitely the best strings. And I’ve tried them all.

Tuning stability +5
Keeps my G string in tune much better than non-wound. I like the feel and sound better too.

Great string for 3rd (G) string
A wound G string stays in tune & has better intonation than a plain string. This .018 gauge wound replaced my .016 plain string. You'll want to go up slightly in gauge, but not a dramatic jump in gauges when changing out a plain for a wound string.

Thanks Amazon
It's great that Amazon carries so many individual guitar strings. So often, there's a string in the set that you'd like to change the gauge. For example, most sets of light nickel wound strings have G strings that are just steel strings and aren't nickel wound (also they are too small a gauge). I want a higher gauge, nickel wound G string and, voila, Amazon has it. That's just one example of a need, I also like to increase the gauge of my light acoustic strings. I'm sure there are other needs that Amazon's carrying of a large number of individual strings meets. I've bought 5 different types of acoustic and electric single strings from Amazon. Thanks Amazon.

Fit Taishokoto
I got this to replace string on a Taishokoto . Worked great , even had little loop on the end to attach to the frame .

Only brand I buy anymore
I've been playing guitar for over two decades and for the last 5 years I've stuck with this brand. These are great strings, some of the best made and that's not just my opinion. If your thinking about trying them just do it.
