Odor Neutralizing Air Freshener, Unscented, 1lb Gel Tub

Moved in to a home with some pet odor. We removed all carpet in the house and covered all subfloor with Killz, had our airducts and furnace professionally cleaned. House still had mild odor, noticeable when you first walk in the house, but not strong. Decided to try this product.10/14/2020 - I received tub of this product in the amazon box. It did have some residue on the sides, but tub was not open. Product is jello like consistency and with shipping box being tossed around, i would assume some liquid goo might leak out. If that is a problem, you should not purchase it. I removed product out of its original package and placed in clear container inside my furnace right on top of the filter. I'm going to try to use it pre-filter for the first time. If I like the product i'll purchase another one and use it post filter to see if it makes the difference.10/15/2020 - Left the house for about 3 hours and when i came back i could smell a little hint of fresh scent. No nauseous smell, no strong fragrance smell, very settle hint of "something smells better" in the house. Product been in place for about 12 hours.I will update as time goes on.10/28/2020 - My house smells much better! No odors, no fragrance just fresh clean house. But product is completely used up. As you can see on the picture it turned from jello like consistency to pretty much hard goo. In my house we keep it at 70 degrees so furnace is running much more.01/01/2021 - So far I used three tubs of this product. Now I purchased their residential block (61060). This tub last about 3 weeks and then it totally shrinks down to small hard rock. I came to conclusion that this tub is a first step for your fight with odor. It gets on to the system quickly and goes to work fast everywhere. Once the main smell has been dealt with then residential block comes in to maintain and slowly aromatize your home. Even though I went through 3 tubs (but needed 1, maybe 2). I did not regret any. Will post again when block will be completely gone.7/27/2021 - This will be my last edition of this review. Large block lasted week short of three months. I'm very pleased with this product and will suggest it for anyone who wants to make their house fresh.

I started up my air conditioner for the summer season, and it smelled awful. Apparently, there’s a thing called dirty sock syndrome. I had no idea nor have I ever smell dirty socks, but if they smell like that, gag me with a spoon. I just put half of the product up in my air vent return and honestly it got rid of the odor and it hasn’t come back. One application and I have no more odor. Plus, when the air comes out of the vent, you don’t smell the deodorizer at all. All you smell is clean, fresh air. I have half a tub left and I hope I don’t have to use it but if I do, I know it’ll work.

When I first put this next to the blower in my HVAC unit, I noticed a fresher smell in the house. All of the mustiness wasn't eliminated, but it was far less noticeable. Over time, the fresh smell diminished. I checked out the gel 3 weeks later and it was 90% gone. Don't expect any long-term miraculous odor elimination.

This would be five stars across the board but the shipping was horrible thus I gave it a one star for value. Two containers had the lids off, one had a hole in the lid and the gel was smeared all over everthing there is no way to contact the company so one star it is. We bought a house that had chain smokers in it for 30 years. We were able to rid the house of all smoke smell using TPC to scrub the walls, bomb it with ROOM Shockers (another great product, but still had a pervasive oder every time the heat kicked on. Even after we had the duct work professionally cleaned. One container of this kept directly inside the return air vent and the smell just vanishes. I'm sensitive to any kind of strong smell and I can't tell this is even present. SUPERB PRODUCT Crappy Amazon shipping unless you buy one, never had a problem this last time I bought 4 to last a year and they just threw them in a box with no packing

I LOVE this product for getting rid of orders - Love it! use a 1 lb container each month in my closest with my air handler - naturally freshens the house, takes away mildew smells, etc. Issue is 100% of the time, every order I've received, at least 5+ at this point, this arrives compromised, product rolling around with no lid loose in the box. Not only does this waste the product, because it starts to dwindle once exposed to air - but there is now a white residue over ALL ITEMS in the same box... EVERY - SINGLE -TIME! To the seller - PLEASE SEAL YOUR CONTAINERS properly - even a piece of strong tape if not a vacuum sealed plastic... SOMETHING! I see from other reviews, I'm not the only one frustrated by this... but again, now it's no longer new when it arrives already opened/exposed and these aren't cheap. I'm going to start returning and asking for a properly sealed replacement every time this happens, if that's what it takes to stop me from having white gunk over the entire inside of boxes filled with items. Having said all of this... I will continue to buy it... IT REALLY WORKS!!! No strong smells/perfumes, which is also awesome... but for the price we are paying, they can certainly afford to have Amazon throw some tape on the lid before shipping.
