Titicaca FR Shirt Flame Resistant Work Shirt Men's Cotton 7.5oz Welding Shirt

I bought this shirt while working on the metal repair project on my pickup. The hot welding slag was continually burning me as much of my work is overhead. This shirt is generous and stops the burns on my arms and chest. I bought a very large size so it fits over my other garments and the sizing is quite good. The button on the sleeves are nice and tight as well. This shirt does what is intended for light mig welding of sheet metal. I'd want something more substantial if I was arc welding thicker metal such as a full leather jacket but for the normal work around the shop this shirt works exceptionally well for both welding and grinding protection. Since this is a treated denim fabric, I had no expectation that it would breathe and be a cool shirt in hot weather, it is quite warm and feels just like a leather jacket, just more comfortable due to the lighter weight

Update. Wore one to work today. Shirt caught on fire in two places welding with 6010 !!! I’m not a small dude and an xl drowns me like a 3x. I wear wrangler xl fr shirts and they sit snug but these shirts fit terrible. Welder by trade so a super baggy shirt is a no go for me. Sizing is way off. Pretty sure it’s a 3 x that simply got an xl tag sowed on. Quality is not there. Pay the money and buy a reputable brand.

Overall nice shirt. My only complaint is they run large and long. My son is typically a medium in all men’s shirts, however this one is a lot bigger than a normal medium and it’s very long. Be careful when you order so that you are disappointed with the fit.

I’ve worn FR for 10 years and now my company is moving away from providing FR uniforms to fixed reimbursements for FR clothing. So I bought this to compare quality/cost. Their large fits fine through the torso compared to Bulwark/Big Bill/Riggs, but it seems a bit too short to stay tucked in well and the sleeves are significantly shorter. The cuff lands just barely past the midpoint of my forearm. Just something to be aware of, you may want to go a size up.As some others have said, it had a strong odor when received. Like something between acetone and a perm. Definitely wash before wearing.

I purchased this for my husband who is 5'11.5" using the sizing chart given. Shirt was a bit large across shoulders and abdomen (this was ok enough of a fit to be worn) but shirt is extra, extra long (nearly too to tuck). This shirt may not be best purchase for shorter individuals, unless willing to alter. Shirt material is good, just expect to have to iron cuffs, collar, and button wholes after washing.Overall for quality and price, will buy again but may try 1 size smaller.

Would I buy this again? Yes. There was a delay in getting my work shirts so I bought this as a short term stand in. I like the shirt and may wear it rather than the ones provided by work. It is a little scratchy out of the box but I think it will get better with additional washing. I only gave it 4 stars for the weight but that is understandable as this is part of my PPE.

Was a little big but I gave it 5 stars because I'd much prefer shirts for industrial work to be a little big anyway. I find it more comfortable that way. The shirt looks very nice and well made. My first day wearing it I was crawling on scaffold and none of my buttons popped off. Which is really all I can ask for out of a flame resistant shirt especially at such a fair price.
