Love the design, but the wood is thin and brittle. If the wood were thicker for the corner pieces, the trellis could be taller.

It is nice when products actually turn out as described. Good quality, easy to follow assembly instructions. This novelist is a good buy.

I am very disappointed with this arbor. It is far less than the description implies. The material is cedar, but thin (3/8" thick) and rough cut. The pilot screw holes are too close to the edge of the strip and the screw head sticks out along the edge. If you tighten enough to make the pieces flush (no gap at the corner) you risk cracking the strip that you are screwing into.I am not sure if this product changed since the other reviews or Q&A, but the last thing I would describe it as are "heavy" or "sturdy". It will definitely need to be sunk into the ground and secured to hold it in a wind if there is a plant climbing on it.For this price I expected a garden support that would last a long time. I am guessing this will make a couple of years at most.I would NOT recommend this product and would not buy again.The only reason for the stars at all was that the shipping was super fast and arrived ahead of the predicted date.

Prompt delivery! Tight construction, gracious lines, great size, adds dimension and height to my garden. The obelisk is a good value for the money.

This is a great trellis and very easy to put together. I can't wait until it ages to see the color it becomes. Very sturdy!!
